Ambleside Salutation Hotel & Spa
Underwhelming. This is a very ordinary hotel, despite the hot tubs, pool and spa. The decor is vile, all dull browns with turquoise. In the “Troutbeck” room there is a nasty trip hazard into the bathroom. A stubbed toe was annoying but a cracked skull would have been more so. Tip: if it’s not fixed ...

Hapimag Burnside Park Apartments
The room and staff were fine but we had no hot water for about 16 hours and had to use another apartment to shower which was not great.

Great location from the shops/restaurants and Lake Windermere. Excellent communication and hotel was very clean.

Courtyard Apartments
When we entered the apartment it was so cold and took all night for the heat to warm up. It was not a pleasent first impression.
