Jacuzzi a plus. For arrival, standard vehicle OK (albeit slow w potholes with some portions being unpaved roads), but 4x4 might be helpful. Highly recommend to get away from it all to chill. "The property is truly wonderful—a perfect place to find peace of mind, reset, detach, and return as a better person. I only wish I had more time to stay, perhaps even a month or two, because it’s definitely a place I plan to revisit. The commute through the resort involves quite a few hills, which at times felt like a workout, but I like to think of it as built-in cardio—almost like hiking. She also provide price info so we are assured. With affordablenprice, this place is 3 blocks away from market, central sqaure, and 5 blocks from bus station to San Jose. You can also take the bus to airport."

"This was a beautiful property! The plunge pool was delightful in the evening we would relax in it and watch the Macaws fly by. You could hear the howler monkeys in the forest; you are on the side of a mountain. The road into the community is gated and the location is very close to Torculas. "

"The Bamboo was a great apartment hotel for a one night stay in San José. We had airline problems/last minute cancellation with American Airlines and didn't get in until late. The hotel made sure someone was there late and when we needed to go out to meet up with local friends they provided us with the garage gate opener. The breakfast was a great local home made dish."
