I would like to see the hotel improve the ventilation, especially in the dining room. The food odor linger on our clothes. I like to see the hotel put in the safety rails around the window so guest can open it.

Luxury hotel for budget price
This hotel is very luxurious for the price. The rooms are very big and the bed is large and incredibly comfy. Really great facilities in the room including filtered water. Pool and beach were so peaceful and relaxing. Staff were so attentive and friendly. Spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day here and it felt very festive. The food in the restaurant is amazing, I really recommend the club sandwich. The drinks are delicious and a really good price, especially and happy hour. Also visited the spa which was incredibly relaxing.

Property location didn't match advertisement. We even though we have arrived at wrong hotel. Private beach was very dirty, like it's never been cleaned. Public beach was cleaner. Property paid for our airport transportation as a compensation and I can see that they have updated location in advertisement, so they are fixing things. Also it seems like area around hotel has been underfunded and in decline for a while, perhaps because of covid efffect.

What an amazing hotel. Absolutely fabulous. The staff is so professional, smiling, polite and nice. Always ready to greet and help you with anything you need. Breakfast is amazing. Delicious, plenty of options and everything you can possibly desire for a hearty breakfast. The hotel is quiet and in a quiet location, has some restaurants around and also has a good restaurants inside which serves delicious food and drinks at happy hour. Everything was fabulous and amazing. Close to the ferry terminal and the hotel will help you organise your trip. This was by far one of the best hotels I have stayed even in comparison to Europe it was top class. Don’t hesitate to stay here and experience the amazing hospitality.

The property is in a new, clean and quiet area. It is right next to the ferry service to Cat Ba making it very convenient. The staff are very helpful and willing and able to make services and tours available. The breakfast buffet was well done. The pool and beach facility was new and clean

Family Trip to Halong Bay
Beautiful hotel - new. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Convenient location for tours and Cat Ba ferry. Not many restaurants or stores on Tuan Chau island. The resort photo on hotels.com website is for phases under development. Current facilities are just hotel, restaurant and a shop, though still all quite nice. 20 min/$10+/- cab ride to Halong City proper.

Stay there for 1 night before the cruise to Halong Bay, located at Tuan Chau Island, slightly far from the city center, very quite place in the evening, nothing much to eat unless you take a taxi to the city center where there are many seafood restaurants at reasonable price. The room is clean, the bed is big and comfortable, and the breakfast is great. If you are a EPL fans, their in room TV do board cast EPL live matches.

The buildings are quite new. We were put in the Paradise Comfort Suites because we came early. We were not planning on checking in yet as we have a tour and could have left our luggage in storage until check in time. We were informed that we have been upgraded to a bigger room but is much too plain compared to the room on the photos. We were not happy and felt outcasted in the building they out us in as it seems we were the only ones staying there. The entrance was dark and nobody in the lobby. It was quite eerie.

Worst hotel on our 2 week Vietnam trip
The atmosphere and look is very artificial and cold. Not what we expected when staying at Halong Bay. Breakfast is sub-par compared to other hotel breakfasts we had. The food attendants have poor hygiene as they kept wiping their noses and sneezing around the food. Rare to see staff openly dirty around food. Should've stayed 1 night or taken a day trip to Halong from Hanoi.

False misrepresentation on Hotels.com as with the location of the pool...over 3km away from the hotel..Hotel denied/argued this factor.. Noisy continuous thoroughfare of buses/traffic to Marina right next to the pool. Disjointed hotel arranged over 4 different buildings.a very odd setup only normally accustomed to a resort. OK hotel if you like staying within an assortment of diffrrent building sites.

The staff were incredibly helpful and make you feel special! It was like being at a 5-star resort. We also took advantage of the on site spa and it was so relaxing and the therapists are in my opinion better well trained than in the US. Thank you, Paradise for an amazing holiday!

The location sucks, there nothing to do around there. You can honestly just stay there for a day or two and finish exploring Ha long. Also the staff didn’t even assist us with looking for places to visit, had to do it on our own. Also they kept my Passport which was weird considering all other hotels I’ve stayed at just made a copy and that was the end of it. The hotel wasn’t as advertised and the location is still under construction. The hotel breakfast was good though and the bathroom was beautiful. Wish there was more to do.

Our overall stay at Paradise was okay. We booked the transfer from Hanoi city with the hotel which was late for over an hour. We expected more since it was quite pricey compared to other transfer services. When we arrived the receptionist was apologetic so we didn't think much of it. The room was clean, nice and spacious. But the noise level from the outside was horrible. You can hear pretty much everything. There were some stains on one of the robes in the room and the hotel slippers were used (not new). We didnt use them. On our second day there, it was raining hard at night (around 9pm) and water started to leak from the ceiling right on top of our bed. We called the receptionist and she told us someone's going to come to check on it. No one ever showed up. We ended up pushing our bed to the middle of our room to avoid the water dripping. The next morning we mentioned it again to the receptionist and she apologized and she said there's nothing they can do except moving us to a different room. But since they were "full" they can only downgrade us. We decide to stay in our room. Luckily for us, the rest of the trip was sunny. The breakfast was pretty good. This area is still developing a lot. Almost nothing to do in the area except for HaLong Cruise, which can be done in a day trip and maybe SunWorld, which was pretty nice.

We decided to stay at this hotel for one night prior to our boat cruise in Ha long Bay. The hotel itself is situated on the port island where the ferry terminal is and where most cruises begin, so it is convenient location for those with a cruise booked. However, for restaurants/cafe and shops within the main area, it is about 15 minutes car journey away. The room itself is very simple but clean. There’s nothing wrong with it or great about it. The highlight for us is the breakfast, which offers a menu selection of 3 different breakfast sets. My vegan friend was also offered to dine at a separate buffet with more selection. The hotel kindly arranged transfer from Hanoi airport on our date of arrival and sent a luxury private limousine van for the 2.5 hour journey, however, it costs a large sum of $105 USD for this. This is fairly expensive compared to other transfers available and we wanted to opt for a cheaper normal car from the hotel but they insisted on a policy that any party with more than 2 people will not be allowed to book a normal four seater, so we ended up with a 7 seater with 3 empty seats. It is quite unnecessary. The hotel also requires upfront payment via an email link prior to confirmation; it is not possible for those who wish to pay on arrival.

Its great value for money. Its a quiet location snd while the beach and ancient town are not in walking distance the hotel offer a free shuttle bus service for both drop off and pick up. The rooms are large and clean, and even included a computer. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The hotel give comprehensive information on a map about recommended sites to visit, restaurants and atms. There's also a gym and outdoor pool. The buffet breakfast was varied, with both continental and vietnamese food. In short, its a great place to stay, in a quiet location away from the hustle and busle, and its great value for money.

Fabulous hotel, lousy location
Hotel was fabulous. Huge room, huge bed, lovely bathroom. All you can eat buffet breakfast... and so much choice. Staff were always at hand, and very attentive. They even provided a free delicious birthday cake for my partners birthday. Now the down side. The surrounding area is a building site. The whole island/area is in the midst of development and everywhere you go you are in a building site. Main beaches closed because of this. Very little choice of places to eat in the evening. And no pubs/bars. Perfect for the ferry terminal... only a 5 minute walk. If you’re going on a Halong Cruise, or a trip to Cat Ba, then hotel is ideal. Halong town area is 12 kilometres away - taxi’s vary from d138000 to d218000. Despite them all being metered. However I wouldn’t recommend going into the Halong area - although the rainbow bridge and the cable car to the big wheel is well worth it. To sum up..... lovely hotel, can’t fault it, but the surrounding area is a complete let down. Stay here if you’re going to be spending your days cruising, or visiting other islands. Great base for that. I’m sure the whole area will be stunning when all the building works are completed in about 5 years time.
