가족숙소로 좋아요
시외버스터미널과 고속버스터미널이 한 블럭 이내에 있고, 역시 한 블럭 이내에 식당들 편의점들이 많이 있습니다. 한실에서 묵었는데, 분위기 있는 인테리어와, 이불들도 깨끗하고 시설들도 잘 갖춰져 있습니다. 복도에서 들어오는 소음은 어쩔 수가 없습니다. 성수기 시절 큰 방이었음에도 숙박비가 크게 비싸지는 않았습니다. 군산에 간다면 다시 묵고 싶은 가족숙소입니다.

Modern, comfort hotel
The room is spacious for 2 persons stay, clean, modern, comfortable, and helpful front desk. The breakfast is tasty as well. Worth the money.

The hotel is clean and modern, excellent location in downtown Gunsan so easy access to the tourist sites. There was plenty of parking on site which is always nice.

Hassle free parking
I had a comfortable stay! Especially for those who drive to Gunsan and look for an accommodation, this hotel has plenty of spots to park.

Best Gunsan hotel
Avon hotel is ideally located near the bus terminal. Staff is friendly and rooms clean and spacious. I recommend for anyone visiting gunsan city

Receptionists are efficient and speak good English, room is clean, hotel lobby is nicely decorated. Just next to the bus terminal, and only took about 7 mins by taxi from Gunsan train station, and taxi only cost <6000 KRW.

I needed some thing then call to front desk but they didn’t get the phone :( If you want to change or need some they must charge. I took the ondol room then checked controller on the wall but broken. I called they said they will control so if I want to change the temperature they need to call... insane. The beddings were too thin for floor so I requested to get some more then they will charge. I can hear everything inside from HORRIBLE HOTEL NEVER EVER COME BACK!

Avon Gunsan, good one for business and family too.

Great Stay
What a great place to stay. This is close to restaurants, and close to the bus station if you’re coming from Incheon. It was a great place to stay while doing work in Gunsan. Clean and friendly!

This is the second time for me staying at this hotel. After the positive experience, I rebooked for my recent visit. Everything was good except for a sound of construction right above the breakfast restaurant interrupting our peaceful morning. Dah... luckily, we did not hear any of it on our second day.

Place to stay when visiting Kunsan AFB
I haven't stayed at any other places, but I found it to be a convenient hotel to stay when visiting Kunsan AFB. The hotel is located next door to the Highway Bus Terminal (bus to/from Incheon Airport), so it was very great to just walk a few feet and relax after a long flight from the states. The cab ride to the base was $14-$16. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was awesome! The downside was the surrounding area and the hotel staff was not the best when it came to English. Other than Dunkin Doughnuts in the Bus Terminal there was not many other choices for western food...and there was only one Korean eatery with pictures. Definitely no shopping in the vicinity, but there was a mall about a mile away. Behind the hotel was "another world". However, although we may have a negative image around Bus Terminals in the states, the area is very safe and clean.

Check-in was smooth. It took less than 5mins. I gave my confirmation number from hotel.com, picture ID, and credit card for incidentals. The hotel was very clean and quiet. The decor was contemporary, and I loved that they had black out curtains. I didn’t have a chance to eat at their restaurant, utilize the gym, or the spa. I chose this hotel because it was less than a two minute walk to the bus terminal. It was a great place to stay, and I would recommend this hotel to my family.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Avon Hotel. There was a group of ‘group tourists’ staying at the same time which slowed down breakfast service a bit. Other than that, it was a nice place to stay while in Gunsan. The hotel made their own map of suggested places to visit/eat, that was quite useful.

I plan to stay here again.
The room was very spacious, breakfast was delicious, and the staff spoke English well enough to easily communicate. Some high notes for me was the bathroom, bed, and universal outlets (still 220v but great for computers and mobile phones).
