"I am not really sure why the reviews here so poorly match the state of the hotel. It’s run down and a more than a bit grubby. The staff are lovely and helpful and do their best to take care of you but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that the hotel needs some serious upkeep. "

"Really liked overall. Outdoor porch was awesome. Really close to Robbies, though a little treck to Bahia Honda, if you're looking for nice beaches. One or two odd things. First there was no light in the living room. So I had to keep the light on in the kitchen. Also there was only 1 lamp next to the bed & no bedroom light besides this. It would have also been nice if there was a stove & pots/pans/silverware, etc. Finally there really is no beach. Boat dock, but not really a beach. But otherwise...

"All of the staff were outstanding . If we had a concern , it was taken care of immediately. A shout out to Faith at the front desk and Jenelle . So courteous and helpful . The rooms were very nice and loved walking out to a beach area with chairs and fire pits that were easy to work . Sunrise every morning with our coffee and breakfast on the go offered at the front office . Location perfect . Able to go in either direction easily to explore the Keys "
