"There’s a small shopping center below the hotel, which was convenient. The hotel location is very well situated. I wish the bathroom had a vent."

"We have stayed here several times.This location is great if you want quiet and peaceful but still convenient to some great food and shopping if that’s your thing. Perfect place to watch the sunset. Never feels crowded even during the busy season. Rooms are old but clean enough. Our front door needed a good shove to get it open and closed. Balcony was clean and appeared to have newer furniture. A/C worked well. There was good water pressure for the shower. Could definitely use an overall update but we are happy with it for a few night here and there. There was a lot of maintenance going on in the elevators and corridors while we were there so I hope that’s a sign of improvements in that area. The pool and hot tub is always clean and well maintained although both can get crowded. Staff is top notch. Every single person we encountered was polite and said hello. Overall it’s a solid 4 for us and we will continue to choose Beachside Resort for short stays."

"My room was excellent. We had a bay and beach view which I absolutely loved. The room was clean, the hotel was clean, and the staff was nice. Everything needed was in walking distance. My only complaint was there was no microwave on the property at all but other than that my stay was beautiful. I would stay again. "

"This hotel was very clean and well maintained. We flew in from Los Angeles our flight arrived at 5:30am and checking was not until 4pm, they were able to accommodate us and give us early checking at no extra cost! There were a few of the staff that were rude but most were nice! Overall we had an amazing stay! And would definitely recommend staying here :) this hotel is one block away from Bourbon st and just about 10 min walk to the French quarters you don’t need Uber or taxi it’s a great location. "It was too cold to get in the water but this is a great hotel. It’s directly on the beach has great pools and right next door (walking) to bars and restaurants on the beach. They charge $15 a night for parking. I didn’t see that anywhere."

"Wyndham Clearwater Beach was a mixed experience. The location is great—right across from the beach with beautiful views—and the bed was very comfortable. Ocean Hai was a standout and definitely worth visiting. However, there were several downsides. The staff didn’t feel particularly friendly or welcoming. My room had a noticeable odor at check-in, and while they addressed it, someone came at 8:30 PM after I was already in bed to spray deodorizer, which wasn’t ideal. Fees add up quickly with parking and the resort charge, and the included beach umbrella isn’t much of a perk since it’s comparable to renting directly and doesn’t include a cabana. Food on the property was disappointing—room service tasted like low-quality, microwaved food (runny quesadilla with nacho cheese, bland potstickers), and a veggie egg wrap from the coffee bar was inedible (though they did replace it with yogurt). Coffee was good, but overall food quality was poor, and gratuity is automatically added at a high rate. Great views and location, but service, fees, and food quality would make me think twice about staying again. "
