"My main complaint was no air conditioning in the lobby and it was very hot and stuffy. There were many people waiting for a room. We all waited in a very uncomfortable lobby area where they were repainting so we had those fumes to deal with too. Cruise ships disembark early in the morning and there were many cruise passengers waiting. The hotel did not check anyone in until 3:00pm. I went upstairs and the maid told me that many rooms were ready much earlier. Why can’t they check in one party at a time as the rooms are cleaned? Especially knowing that their lobby is unbearable. When I was finally given a room, we went upstairs only to find that the room was not ready. On top of that the toilet was not flushing.
For the most part, the staff was friendly.
The property is old and run down so you get what you pay for.
Final complaint, although the airport is only 10 minutes away, the shuttle only leaves once an hour, on the 40 minute mark. Our shuttle driver drove so fast, he sped through 2 yellow lights and hit 2 curbs at a high speed when turning right. Scary ride."
