"The location is the best thing about this property. The pool looked nice although we did not use it. The beach access is super easy. Our room was Ocean view which was very nice. The check-in process was very simple, but the staff was not very friendly and did not provide any information outside of handing us a room key. The exterior was very old and rundown. The bathroom in our room desperately needs updating. The tub was not clean however, the sink and countertop have been updated and that part was clean and fresh. Our king bed was comfortable with clean sheets so that was a relief. They need doormats to wipe the sand as there is no carpet in the room. The small balcony had two chairs with a great view, but the AC unit was leaking onto the floor, causing a huge puddle with mildew, gross.
The small tiki bar was a nice benefit, but the drinks are overpriced for the surroundings at that hotel. Our room rate was way too high, but we booked very late and it was the only thing left available in the area. It was a sufficient day for one night because we only used the room to shower and sleep. But I would not return to this property."
