Johnson's Beach

"We had a wonderful stay at Johnsonโs Beach Resort and would absolutely recommend it! We stayed in one of the rustic historical bungalows, which had so much charm. The room was clean and well-kept, the bed and linens were comfortable, the shower was fresh, and the little kitchen was just adorable. The location is hard to beat โ walkable to restaurants and cafรฉs, and just steps from the beach. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One small note: our bungalow was near the boiler area, which created a bit of background noise at night once things quieted down โ we would have loved to drift off to the sounds of nature instead. Something to keep in mind when requesting a room. Overall, a lovely, character-filled getaway. Weโd happily come back!"

"Wish I could have stayed longer! Landscape and gardens, beautiful! Didnโt bring a swimsuit, would have taken advantage of the pool and hot tub. The hotel was close to restaurants and shops."

"The property is beautiful, the room, spacious and comfortable, the pool, the hot tub and the spa were all fantastic. We were a little disappointed that the pool bar and the lobby coffee bar were not open during the week when we were staying there. Also could not get the coffee machine in the room to work so there was no way to get coffee in the morning except go to the restaurant, which you would not expect for the price we paid. overall, however, it was a beautiful and luxurious place to stay."

"Beautiful location and property. Certain dishes in Drakeโs Restaurant - corn chowder soup, burrata and snap pea salad, pork chop and miso cod- are outstanding for dinner. Cozy room with fireplace and wonderful views from 2nd floor balcony. Access to bikes and Dorian Park along with our hike to Estero Americano Park rounded out are 2 night stay with use of the infinity hot tub and pool. Sโmores in the evening by the lobby fire was a nice touch. Staff helpful and kind. Overall very relaxing stay!"

"Overall, I had a great stay at Surrey Resort and would consider staying here again. Check-in was easy, and my tent was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I especially appreciated the electric blanket, which made for a cozy night's sleep. The location is another major highlight. It's an easy walk to Guerneville's Main Street, and the resort itself has a peaceful, pleasant setting that made it easy to relax. My only disappointment was the pool and hot tub. I wasn't able to enjoy the pool during my visit, and while the hot tub was warm, the jets were not operating. If those amenities were fully functional, the experience would have been even better. Overall, it's a unique, comfortable place to stay in a great location, and I'd be happy to return."

"Clean, comfortable, quiet and fun. We enjoyed the way the place was laid out, the garden like court yard, the lovely breakfast, the sโmores in the evening. It was great! Close to the coast too."
