Nice hotel in nice part of town

Great location with plenty of nearby restaurants, the free breakfast is also good. Our only issue was that on the weekends the bar down the street plays very loud music, which can be heard in the room.

I chose this hotel at random because it was close to another hotel (international chain) where i needed to stay the next 2 nights. The rooms were a little small but it was very cozy, comfortable and clean. And it was 40% of the price. It is well located close to shopping and restaurants. I'll stay here the whole time next year. Breakfast was free and there were many options.

This is an OK hotel, which is conveniently located in Zona 10. The property does not look like the photos; everything is on cheap side, from the building to breakfast to the shampoo. We were only given one towel. There is a bar downstairs that blasts music until late at night. Importantly, I confused my room with another and was able to unlock another person’s room with my key. That fact was compounded with an out of service safe. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Near the airport and a big shopping mall

This hotel is on Zone 10 of Guatemala City, one of the safer zones. The traffic in the city is very bad, but our room was at the back luckily. We had arranged a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, but there was a miscommunication and no shuttle came. Luckily, I was able to phone the hotel and the front desk did then send a shuttle to the airport. It is fairly close to the airport, so is good for an early morning flight. The area around has a number of choices fro dining, and we felt quite safe walking around. The room was quite comfortable and the water hot. Staff are friendly, but don't speak much English (our fault, as we don't speak much Spanish!).
