  • Taking the 3-Seen Tour of Grundlsee and the two surrounding lakes was a highlight of our honeymoon! Our visit was in October as the few leaves were just starting to turn and it was perfect. The shops and restaurants around the lake were mostly closed down as it was off season for them, but that added to the beauty of the quiet and calm. My happy place is always in the #mountains

Peaceful and welcoming.

It was a wonderful place to stay. The breakfast was exceptional. The service was exceptional. I was showed kindness after a long trip when kindness is what I needed. In a very beautiful place of Austria as well.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The entire hotel experience was excellent. I enjoyed just hanging around and relaxing in the solarium next to the hotel. The location is extremely beautiful exceeding the photographs of the hotel that were provided in the website. Trails are provided adjacent to the hotel that extend to and beyond the city of Bad Aussie and to the lake which is located approximately a half a mile from the hotel. The hotel is also within a 20 minute drive from Hallstatt. There are bathing areas carved out in the river. However, the water is a little cold for October bathing. The rooms are exceptionally pretty and inviting. A lovingly and well prepared breakfast is provided. Free parking is also provided.

Schnuckeliges Hotel mit Boutique-Charakter

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, das Personal ist kompetent und hilfsbereit; die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht; Betten sehr bequem; Frühstücks- bzw. Aufenthaltsräume sehr gepflegt und einladend; Parkplatz für Gäste direkt vor der Tür; insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt!
