"Took three chances to finally get us in a double queen room that was actually cleaned. First was a single king then a double queen that had not been cleaned. Asked for a credit card for incidentals and charged the full room amount after I already paid thru Expedia. Have a ridiculous $15 per night fee for parking. Hotel needs some TLC and some updating."

"The staff stood out as everyone from the front desk to the housekeepers and the breakfast lady went out of their way to greet and ask about any concerns. The room amenities were a little disappointing, but the overall experience distanced that. I think you will pay much less than a full service hotel with their upgraded amenities, but the price difference equals or exceeds the slightly different amenities provided by a much more expensive hotel."

"My family has stayed at nearly every hotel on Jekyll. Our current go-to is Hampton Inn. While it doesn’t have the ocean views other hotels have, I love the tree lined boardwalk. The pool is the best part of the hotel, it is shaded and heated year round. My most recent trip to the Hampton Inn was frustrating and disappointing. The desk is usually helpful and outgoing. This year, it was evident they were stress and under strain. When we visited in the spring, we learned about a new pool towel...

"The staff was outstanding and so helpful. Rooms were clean and nice . The only issue we had was the ac didn’t run right and tv wasn’t much choice to watch . The breakfast was good ."

"The property is beautiful and conveniently located close to The beach with easy access. We rented bikes from the hotel and the island bike trail Is right off the property . We spent alot of the time at the pool and there were ample chairs and umbrellas and the foliage around the pool takes the experience to a higher level Chairs are located outside the rooms and we sat outside with coffee in the morning and there was never sun beating down on us"
