Excellent, Well Situated Hotel.
Excellent hotel. I cannot praise it enough. From the moment you walked through the door you were greeted by a smiling receptionist. Check-in was quick and easy. The Reception staff were very helpful about where to go and what to do. Directed to our room, we were in shock at how big it was. The food was exceptional served by informative waiters who served you out on the terrace during the evening. Would I stay again? Definitely.

Great hotel in an excellent position in Grindelwald, just off the Main Street where restaurants are located. Nice room spacious and quiet. Breakfast was the best plenty of options. Great staff pool was large overall very impressed.

Perfect base in Grindelwald
Solo traveler for 3 nights in Grindelwald. Comfortable, modern, clean room with very nice bed and shower. I booked to have a balcony with mountain views and would definitely do that again. Lovely to sit out there in the late evening and watch the sun go down on the mountain. Use the hotel’s shuttle to and from the train station if you have heavy baggage (just call them before you’re arriving). Fantastic staff. Amazing location. No complaints.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel staff was very friendly at every level. We do not have a single negative thing to say. The property was well maintained, and the facilities were clean and in good operating condition. The balcony was spacious and provided excellent views. The breakfast and dinner setups were very good and had great food and service. The pool, hot tub, sauna, and spa experience were next level. The pool is huge and had a great water spout to beat sore neck, shoulder, and back muscles into relaxation. It was very clear to us that every employee we encountered, took pride in their job. We would definitely stay here again.

Pleasant stay at the hotel
Pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff was very nice. We would defintely stay there again the next time we visit. Also the location was great and close to the train station as well as the Firstbahn.

I had a wonderful three day stay at this property. The staff was very friendly and helpful, both at reception and in the restaurant. I was luckily upgraded to a room with mountain views, and the views from the outside patio were spectacular. I highly recommend booking a room with the mountain view in advance, because the hotel is busy most the year and upgrades are likely rare. It's totally worth the extra price for the view. The pool area was pleasant. I really enjoyed the sauna, swimming in the pool, and relaxing in the hot tub while looking at the mountains. Breakfast was good with enough options, and dinner was fantastic. It costs 30 CHF for a 5 course meal, which is a bargain for this town, because most restaurants will charge you 25 CHF or more just for an entree. I will definitely return to this hotel!

It was a great location near First gondola and pool was very nice. I’ve been to Grindelwald a few times and this has been my favorite place to stay. Highly enjoyed!

Hotel is in a greatl location. Rooms are nice. Hotel has an amazing view. Located 2 min from first mountain lift. Best thing about this hotel is the staff. They go above and beyond to be friendly and accommodate you, food was very good

Great Hotel
The hotel is pretty great and is sitauated at great location. They were nice enough to provide a pick up from the train station when I emailed them. The staff was very friendly and rooms were clean. The only thing which was disappointing was that when I booked the room it showed that the room would have garden view, however our room had no view at all.

Amazing stay
We had an amazing stay there. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. We felt like home away from our own home. Breakfast and dinner served were exceptionally good. Definitely will book this hotel again for our next trip to Grindelwald.

Great Location and Amazing Service
Marlene and Camille at the reception desk are so helpful and very nice. No request or question is an issue. Roy at the bar was super nice and Manual, the restaurant manager is very welcoming. The food at the restaurant is great. The breakfast buffet has a lot of fresh selections that will satisfy everyone. I also highly recommend the dinner. There is always a meat, fish and vegetarian selection along with a salad bar, an appetizer, dessert and cheese, all for a very reasonable price. We’ve been in Europe for nine days, in Paris, the French countryside and here: this is my favorite place so far!

Great way to experience Grindelwald
Parkhotel Schoenegg hit the high mark on so many points - quality and maintenance of hotel; interested, courteous, and genuinely helpful staff; location (right at First cable car station); restaurant, breakfast, and other meals; pool and spa facilities. All around great place to experience Grindelwald among the many choices. Great jumping off spot for any kind of adventure and relaxing stay.

Stylish, Modern Hotel in the Heart of Grindelwald
We had a wonderful three night stay with our 12-yr-old twin boys in this lovely hotel. The hotel is clean and stylish and the staff made us feel like family. We especially enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub after a long day of cable cars, funiculars, trains, ziplining, and hiking! The dining room is beautifully decorated and the food is wonderful. And to top it off, the manager's Golden Retriever was an added treat!

Wonderful hotel on the edge of town
This was our second visit to this hotel and just as good as the first. Free parking is available outside the hotel entrance just off the main road through the town. Although thoroughly modern with its facilities, there is an old fashioned air of service to the customer. Nothing is too much trouble. Staff also anticipated our difficulties. Not speaking German, the menu had been translated into English, but our waiter suggested she translated it too for us as it still might not be clear. The evening meal always began with a visit to the salad bar, followed by an appetiser (soup, duck salad, pate) followed by the main course from a choice of 4 and then dessert. We enjoyed that each evening. Breakfast was self service from the buffet with a wide choice-cereals, fruit, croissants, yoghurts and even bacon and egg. Sitting in the billiard room afterwards was very peaceful after a busy day and it shared the bar with a lounge and library.

Perfect starting spot for Grindelwald Adventures
