"The room itself was clean. The property itself needed attention. There was trash all over the stairwells that was there our entire 3 night stay. The room was very bright all night. The curtains did little to block the outside lights from shining in, plus the light switches were all illuminated and we couldn't cover them up. "The Retro was a nice place to stay. The only thing I would change would be to have another trash can under the table and put down something in the bottom of the tub. The bottom of the tub was very slick when trying to shower. It would have been nice to have some fruit and protein for breakfast. We had to go buy breakfast to get anything healthy. Overall was very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful."

"We were only there long enough to sleep. I always wanted to check it out sometime, so we did! Breakfast wasn't as many choices as what reviews made it sound, so we took our granddaughter where they had more warm breakfast choices. I took a quick peak for telling the family what was available where choices were Coffee, juices, milk, probably tea, prepackaged danishes, probably cereal and waffles you can makes.

"The property was very clean . Checking in and out was simple and easy. It’s an older property but again very well taken care of. We didn’t use the outside pool, or fitness center. "I absolutely loved this hotel. It was very clean. Most hotels at this age/price tend to have some mold around the outside corners of the shower by the bathroom door. None of that here. "We actually were moved to Ozark Valley Inn which they also own. Renee the manager was super. Good breakfast. Two complaints. They had great exercise equipment, but nobody must use it because it was full of cobwebs. And if you aren’t going to clean a room with a 3 night stay, provide more than one tiny waste basket or a place to empty it "
