Elk Antler Inn

"After a nine days in our Sprinter van, we made a spur-of-the-moment decision to grab a hotel for the night in Thermopolis. The Elk Antler Inn was very affordable, modernized, and comfy. The king bed was very nice, the shower was roomy and had great pressure, and the massage chairs in the wellness cabin were a great surprise. I definitely recommend this hotel, but don't eat at the One-Eyed Bison. It was terrible!"

"We arrived when the temp was 105 degrees and none of the rooms had the air conditioning on making it hard to cool down. There was not enough staff to run the restaurant and bar. Not enough food on the buffet and it was cold. There were lots of tables that never got cleaned off because there was only one worker. Rooms need to be updated. "

"Great property. Very motorcycle friendly. 2 minute walk to a great bar/grill/wood fire pizza joint that was excellent. Very friendly staff. If you call instead of book online, they give you a motorcycle rate."

"A great place to stay on your way across the country. There are views of the Bighorns from a block away. Near tasty food options (I recommend the chicken fried steak at the saloon just down the street) and a gas station. Really amazing free breakfast, including home-baked breads and homemade jams. If you're staying in Tensleep to hike the Bighorns or whatever, I recommend visiting the Pioneer Museum. Really cool! Note that there isn't really a grocery in town. Dirty Sally's has ice cream, camping supplies, food for camping, and souvenirs, but not a full grocery lineup. For groceries, the closest place is a ways west of town; east of town you have to go all the way through the Bighorns to Buffalo."
