I am writing to let you know about my very unusual experience at this hotel. I am very disappointed that I paid more than $1600 for four nights at a place that was very uncomfortable and unkempt. Petri Suites was extremely dusty and dirty, perhaps as the very nice manager said, because it was renovated recently. Nonetheless, as we shared several times with the staff, we were all coughing, highly allergic, and uncomfortable. They said they would clean the room which they did the first and third nights but forgot to clean the room the second night. While the pool and its deck were beautiful, it was closed for three of the four days we were there because it was full of green algae. They drained the pool and spa and tried to fill it but it never got opened even up to the day we left. What’s worse is that we did swim in the green colored pool the first day. My younger son now has an ear infection. The refrigerator in our room was broken so the manager pulled it out of its closet which was a problem because the room was very tight. We were told that we would get a room for four of us that had a sea view. The only view we could get of the sea was if our solid wood door was open. The sea is a very long walk from Petri Suites. The view we had Windows we could see through was of a junkyard full of metal and scraps and other trash. We could see laundry, cats, and other undesirable things.
