If we'd stayed longer, we would really have really appreciated to additional half bathroom as well. "I had a wonderful solo getaway at Sands on Golden Lake. The ground floor room opened directly onto the beach, making launching my paddleboard super convenient. Rooms include a mini fridge and a self-serve complimentary breakfast (fresh eggs to cook, toast, and local Madawaska coffee). The resort has a cozy, rustic lodge with a fireplace. On-site dining is great—the fish and chips were delicious, and the dining room has lake views. Safe, welcoming, and scenic. Highly recommended!"

"It's been a few years since I have stayed here. It's clean but dated. It was a place to stay and sleep while I did track days at Calabogie Motorsports Park. They were very accommodating allowing me to stay an extra day and reasonably priced."
