"I have stayed here a few times and when I booked I didn’t realize that they bought the hotel next door and that is what they now consider the courtyard it’s a run down Motel that they are trying to fix up definitely not worth the money and someone sprayed some type of body spray that I couldn’t handle but staff was able to find a room in the tower and a small fee to upgrade to Fallsview Note for next time"

"There are lots of reviews talking about a musty smell, worn carpet, cramped hallways and just general appearance. Surprise - it's an older building! I thought there was Fabulous character in the place! The lobby had gorgeous stained glass and wonderful high ceilings. The room I stayed in was more updated in the Northside. The elevators were quick. The hallways are tight but it wasn't built for modern luggage and 30 million bags. It's a wonderful Old hotel and is near quick access to public transportation if you are going somewhere local. The check-in was quick with no issues. The staff were so courteous and helpful. Any questions that we had were answered and we were guided to the correct area. If I was pressed to say something negative about my stay, it would be that the bathroom door did not shut correctly but again - Older building. There are Years of paint on the door that prevent it from shutting properly. So please, don't let the more negative reviews keep you or your family from staying at this hotel. It is a Gorgeous building with Tons of character. Just bare that in mind as you travel. The more bags you have - the more back and forth you will be doing up and down the hallways. If you are sharing a room with someone you Are not comfortable with - the bathroom door will be an issue. Otherwise, will stay here again with no hesitation."
