"The NICEST place we stayed at in Crete! We stayed in the Superior Room with a private hot tub on the balcony, and it was LUXURIOUS. An INCREDIBLE unobstructed view, only matched by the shared view from the breakfast area in the lobby as you enter Savus. But what really made our stay incredible was Dimitris, who greeted us at check-in and worked at the front desk in the evenings. "One of the favorite places we have ever stayed in! The place is beautifully restored and you feel like you are really staying in a historic place. We stayed in a room that had ample space and enjoyed staying in. There is a lovely balcony with a hot tub. There were two friendly cats that hung out with us on the balcony. "This property is truly beautiful for and old town. Recently renovated and very nice. The owner was an absolute gem. So sweet, kind and welcoming. The added breakfast was so yummy and so cheap. The location made the challenging walk with luggage from the parking lot a couple blocks away worth it! The bed was comfortable and the space was very clean. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area. "

"Lovely boutique hotel in the centre of Rethymno. We stayed in the loggia suite (one bed plus a living room with sofa bed, two bathrooms). Very tastefully decorated, great bathroom(s) really good powerful shower and the property felt well maintained and cared for. Very good complimentary breakfast. "We loved our stay at The Pepi. It was charming and the service was excellent. The interior of the room we stayed in was well laid out. The beds were very firm, almost too firm for us but it was not a deal breaker and the service and hotel itself were wonderful. Very sweet breakfast options and it is directly in the center of old town but it was quiet."
