8/10 Good

"River City Cafe was great, the breakfast buffet was ok at other restaurant, waiter didn't speak other than to take drink order. Front desk ladies acted like I was a bother to ask them questions about where stuff was at the hotel. The men out front helping with the door and luggage were always so kind. I will be back just know how to approach front desk ladies, with an attitude."

"The only thing I can think of that we didn’t like is that there’s no security in place for access to the pools and waterpark. Literally anybody can park and walk down to use the pool amenities. The gates don’t have a key card entry you just pull a knob and walk In. So we noticed when it rained so many people packed up and completely left the property. Didn’t go back to a room. So it made the pools over crowded. But other than that it was a wonderful place to stay at and my family and I enjoyed our stay there."

"The property description and ratings are not accurate. The property needs some maintenance. A room next to ours was playing music and singing along as well as having multiple phone calls on speaker phone at 1045 pm. Called the front desk and they said they would take care of it and the noise persisted another 40 minutes. I would not recommend this property to anyone."

"The room was fairly clean but my problem was the pull out bed it was terrible! The mattress was extremely worn and needed replacing. The staff was friendly and helpful check in and check out was smooth and quick. The breakfast was good but the last time I stayed it was great with a variety of items to choose from. This time it was limited items to choose from. The full breakfast buffet is the main reason we pick Dayton House every time we visit Myrtle Beach. The location, the lazy river and the access to the beach are the other reasons we pick this hotel."

North Shore Oceanfront Resort Hotel with Waterpark

"I've been to North Shore before, so I know what I'm talking about. The property needs improvements. The indoor pool and jacuzzi area needs to be painted and cleaned throughout. The property needs new carpet and basically a thorough cleaning. That would help so much with the overall stay and experience of the guest."
