"We stayed at the La Quinta Inn & Suites in Fruita after driving down from the Ashley Gorge area in UT. The hotel is conveniently located right across I-70 from downtown Fruita. It’s also very convenient to local hiking, running, & cycling trails. The property seems to be well-maintained with hospitable front desk staff and hard-working cleaning crews. The swimming pool isn’t well suited for laps, but kids will enjoy it. The fitness center is also nice and well-maintained. The room was clean and comfortable. I recommend staying in this hotel if you need to find lodging near Fruita during your future travels."

"This motel is nasty. This was one of seven motels we stayed in on our road trip through Colorado, and it was by far the worst. (We’ve stayed in many Super 8s and they’ve been fine. It’s not like we’re trying to compare The Four Seasons to the Super 8. This motel was just nasty.) The front lobby and breakfast area were pretty nice and renovated, but as soon as we turned the corner to head down the hallway to the rooms it was a whole different story. It was so dirty and it smelled like cigarette smoke and marijuana. We had two rooms at the end if the hall. The smell in the one room was absolutely foul. I can’t even place the smell, but it was so bad we couldn’t stay inside. In the second room the hallway door wouldn’t close or lock properly (and with the vibe of this motel, you definitely want a door that locks properly). We asked them for two new rooms. They moved us to the second floor. The hallways and rooms weren’t any cleaner, but at least the stench didn’t make our eyes water. It really was just disgusting."

"Staff barely spoke or said anything of greeting. Staff was unable to provide airport transportation even with advanced noticed of arrival. Had to wait nearly 30 min for staff to arrive at lobby for check in. employee seemed uninterested in my being a guest. Wouldn't recommend"
