HORRIBLE
It has been a nightmare! For the check in the owner does not respect the schedule from the website, no breakfast included meanwhile we booked it with breakfast, the bedromm was not a real bedroom, no real windows. Very noisy. No clean at all. DONT GO!!

It is sad to have clients like this who pay 28.51 euros for a double room for 2 people and think that there is breakfast included. the martin house does not have breakfast so they are saying things that do not exist. We also do not know this person, it only says that he is anonymous therefore we do not recognize these clients. We have been working for many years and we do not have this kind of clients. our prices are very fair for fair quality If you are looking for luxury, you are in the wrong place regards Martin the martin house

Difficult to locate, it`s actually an apartment building, no signs of an hotel. No phone in the rooms, so impossible to call the owner-manager if not by cell=roaming charges. Coffee, vending machine, unavailable. No city map available. And do not accept the offer for the flamenco show at Sacrosanto, you can go by yourself and have a choice of more than 30 different shows.

It must be said that the martin house offers very low prices, parking and free wifi but we do not have the obligation to have free coffee for customers. we are also very well located and easy to find. we offer our customers different options of things to do in Granada. We have a phone number to serve our customers 24 hours a day. therefore everything this person is talking about the martin house is totally wrong. should have gone to a 4 star hotel and pay 150 euros per day.

Martin is a very nice and friendly proprietor. His English is very good. The room was spacious, clean, secure, and comfortable. Many cafes to eat near the hotel. Breakfast provided but not on site, a short walk to the cafe. Great price but not as centrally located as we would have liked. However, bus stop nearby and 6 euro taxi drive to the downtown area.

I have never had a better stay at a Hotel! The staff are excellent in every way.and really care that you have a good time. The location is perfect and the area is quite and safe.Our room was large and spacious. The hotel was clean and bright. Great proximity to La Alhambra, the city center, the moorish district and more. The manager set us up with a night out to see Flamenco Dancing and we had a wonderful time. We met other guests who were just as happy as we. The Martin House is truly a magical and special place. I have fallen in love with Granada and am looking forward to returning to soon. When I return I will definitely be staying at the Martin House.

Wrong photo and description of hotel/hostel/flat
Good luck finding the hotel as the picture and description of the place is very misleading. It's a 15 room flat/hostel that is hard to find because there is no sign of the place anywhere in this building. It's inside a office type building that is isolated. There was no working air condition in the building as advertised. If you need a short stay without family it's a ok place. Rooms were clean and specious and owner and his daughter is friendly and cooperative. No amenities, bring your own soap if need a shower.

We have air conditioning and this is set at the appropriate times we are very well located with signals set to arrive unfortunately for SHAMIM it did not go very well to find us 99% of our customers arrive without any problem regards the martin house

gracias por darnos esta puntuacion somos un lugar muy limpio,parking gratis 24 horas. servicio público de transporte en la puerta. atendemos a nuestros clientes y les ayudamos en cualquier cosa. como por ejemplo conseguir las entradas para la alhambra comodidad en nuestras habitaciones cada día ahorramos el costo del parking, desayuno, wifi a nuestros clientes. un gran ahorro para nuestros clientes. si lo piensa bien 10 minutos en el bus al centro de granada merece la pena por un buen ahorro de parking diario. también la tranquilidad de no tener que conducir. venga a the martin house y disfrute de granada por un precio justo . gracias martin

Cleanliness unfortunately does not outclass noise
A very well maintained but quite provincial and antiquated residence turned into a multi-room, single floor space with shared kitchen (5 Euro per day fee) and shared bathroom (only one shower available for all guest rooms). The proprietor is Martin, and he is extremely affable and cordial. The room we used was a simple rectangle, and was noisy being next to a very busy traffic intersection. Parking is at your own discretion in this neighborhood of older high-rise apartments and rather dated shops. Buses to downtown are frequent and modern.Beware: pets are allowed and can be noisy at times.

thanks to David for his comment the martin house has rooms of all kinds in this case of this reserve of david we have to say that his reserved a room with shared bathroom, therefore this is what they received. we have more expensive rooms and cheaper rooms, the client chooses his price and his personal economy. Noises are normal in the city unless you leave to stay outside the city every day we save the cost of parking, breakfast, wifi to our customers it's totally free, add everything and you'll see what it would have cost to you in other accommodation saludos martin the martin house/ granada

Clean but dated facility. Innkeeper very friendly. We chose this spot because parking a car closer to the city attractions was either not possible or expensive. We are walkers so this was okay for us.

thanks for his commentary building is new, only 7 years old. we are what you say a very clean place, free parking 24 hours. Public transport service at the door. every day big saving, the cost of parking, breakfast, wifi to our customers. a great savings for our customers. If you think about it 10 minutes on the bus to the center of Granada, it is worth it for a good saving of daily parking. also the tranquility of not having to drive. come to the martin house and enjoy for a fair price Thank you Martin

perfect place to stay , ideal for Alhambra Palace
Once we found the location of the Martin House, we were very pleased with the room and all of the facilities in general. To have the use of a full kitchen (which was spotless) was ideal as there are many places nearby to purchase fresh food. In all honesty the manager was really helpful and very obliging. He printed tickets etc., that we needed for the Alhambra Palace. It is a must visit place . We would stay there again .

Would highly recommend this place to stay.
Although not easy to find initially - as there is no big sign over the door, the manager came out to meet us. He couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful during our stay. This small hotel has a wonderful, full kitchen, a dining room, laundry room and other great facilities to make your trip easy and enjoyable. Another plus is that that it is a great location - a bus direct from the airport makes it's first stop across the road, buses to Grenada central stop outside too and as parking in the city is at a premium taking a bus is the best way to see it. There's is also a nice park over the road and the academy of Fine Arts is exactly opposite. A nice touch too was getting a voucher for breakfast at a café about 20 metres away.... and there's free WiFi as well. All in all, I'm quite sure you'll be happy with your stay in this hotel and at a very affordable price.

lamentable tener clientes como estos que se atreven a decir cosas injustas sobre the martin house despues de tener habitacion doble 2 personas baño privado desayuno gratis en cafeteria junto a the martin house para 2 dias ahorro 5 euros por persona parking gratis no privado en las inmediaciones ahorro 20 euros por dia wifi gratis todo esto por 29.32 euros el primer dia 28.37 por el segundo dia que piensan que podemos darle mas y despues de todo con comentarios malos. se equivocaron de lugar deberian haberse marchado a un lugar de 3 o 4 estrellas y pagar 100 euros por dia gracias the martin house

Não parecia um hotel. Um andar de um prédio residencial com quartos, uma sala e cozinha. Mesmo constando na reserva, não foi oferecido café da manhã. A limpeza do quarto era apenas a troca das toalhas em péssimo estado, rasgadas, porém limpas. O quarto totalmente isolado, para chegar nele recebemos 3 chaves: uma da entrada do prédio, outra da porta que dava num corredor e a do próprio quarto. Muito fechado, na janela havia uma parece de cimento com aberturas que em caso de incêndio não teríamos como quebrar a janela. A calefação não foi ligada conforme nos foi informado, das 20 às 1 hora. Tinha um aquecedor portátil que ajudou bastante. O chuveiro virou uma ducha por não prender na base. O Sr. Martin muito educado, nas duas vezes que nos vimos.

Il faut dire que ce client a refusé de payer le supplément d'un lit d'appoint, donc inclus un lit double pour 2 personnes, pour un paiement de 30,46 euros la climatisation fonctionne nous n'avons toujours aucun problème. Le petit-déjeuner est gratuit et le petit-déjeuner régulier, ne peut être servi sous forme de buffet pour un paiement de 30,46 euros. Il aurait dû partir pour une place de 3 ou 4 étoiles et payer 100 euros par jour.

Tres decue. Nous avons du attendre plus de 30 minutes dans le couloir le proprietaire, alors que la veille nous avions envoye un mail precisant l.heure d arrivee. Le proprietaire parle tres mal l anglais et pas du tout le francais.... La chambre etait tres petite et loin d etre un double confort. Literie bien fatiguee. Chambre tres tres bruyante placee sur une avenue de 4 voies de circulation. Resultat impossible de dormir !!!! D ailleurs, ils nous a semble que c etait une piece probablement de buanderie ou cagibi transforme en chambre ; la baie coulissante donnait directement sur un mur perfore !!! Etablissement a fuir !

Il est triste d’avoir des clients qui pensent d’un lieu 4 étoiles alors qu’ils paient pour 2 étoiles. totalement faux les gens qui paient un prix de 2 étoiles et pensent qu'ils doivent recevoir des services 4 étoiles. Nous avons des heures de bureau nous ne pouvons pas être 24 en attente d'un client dans la maison martin, on parle anglais, français, italien et bien sûr espagnol chaque chambre est parfaitement conçue en fonction de la réservation payée, nous ne pouvons pas donner une chambre double pour une triple, lorsque vous payez pour une double. tous les 12 mois, la maison martin rénove ses lits et tous ses vêtements. Dans les villes, il y a toujours des bruits, mais si vous ne voulez pas de bruits, vous feriez mieux d'aller à la colline. notre linge n’est pas chez martin alors c’est totalement faux de commenter. salutations la maison martin Enviar comentarios Historial Guardadas Comunidad

No me gusto que la habitacion que me dieron no tenia el baño incluido en la habitacion y quedaba lejos teniendo q atravesar el departamento , y si me queria bañar tenia que ir a otro departamento en el mismo edificio y compartirlo, de lo mas incomodo, al otro dia me tube que cambiar de habitacion , que era muy pequeña para dos personas y 3 valijas, para tener baño incluido. El hotel muy lejos de los lugares turisticos . Lo bueno fue la atencion cordial del dueño, y que el departamento era de buena calidad, como las habitaciones, cama comoda y baño confortable. Y se podia usar la cocina.

the martin house les da a cada cliente la habitacion segun clase de reserva reservada. en este caso la reserva fue con baño fuera de la habitacion , por tanro esto es lo que a recibido. despues de todo se le dio gratis sin suplemento una habitacion mas cara con baño privado. por tanto no deberian de quejarse. se les dio mas de lo que pagaron. saludos the martin house

Hier werden einzelne Zimmer einer großen Wohnung vermietet. Das Zimmer war sehr klein. Den kostenlosen Parkplatz muss man sich auf der Straße suchen. Nach einigem Suchen haben wir in einer Nebenstraße noch einen Platz gefunden. Der Vermieter hat das noch als einen Vorteil angepriesen. Jetzt haben wir ein Ticket für 100€ bekommen. Man wird genötigt eine Show zu buchen. Besser hiervon die Finger lassen.

Wir haben Zimmer aller Art zu unterschiedlichen Preisen Was jeder Kunde reserviert, ist das, was er erhält Parken ist sehr klar und spezifisch, wenn Sie die Reservierung vornehmen, sagt kostenlose Parkplätze in der Nähe Wir informieren die Kunden stets über die Dinge der Stadt, worauf auch wir hinweisen, dass dies unsere Verpflichtung gegenüber dem Kunden ist Grüße Martin

siempre hay aire acondicionado posiblemente no supieron conectar el aire. debieron avisarnos para audarles. reservaron habitacion economica con baño compartido por tanto esto es lo que se supone que deben de recibir saludos martin the martin house

Cuidado com alguns pontos
O Sr Martín é muito atencioso, ajudou-nos com informações, etc. A estrutura da casa é muito boa. Gostaria de comentar dois pontos importantes: o estacionamento não é da propriedade e fica numa rua lateral onde não se paga por estacionar . Portanto, para quem não deseja deixar o carro na rua, melhor observar esse quesito. Lembro que também é sujeito a disponibilidade. Outro ponto: o café da manhã não é realizado na propriedade, e sim numa cafeteria próxima . Me foi passado que seria café da manhã continental, porém nos foi servido uma tostada e um café com leite, nada mais. Última coisa: na reserva, havia uma observação que haveria drinks de boas vindas, e na verdade, não recebemos o mesmo.

gracias por su comentario 1 decir que en solo anunciamos parking en las inmediaciones por tanto lo entendio diferente 2 nuestro desayuno esta puesto como regular por tanto no es un buffet como algunas personas entienden 3 nunca tenemos puesto que damos bevidas de bienvenida 4 nuestro desayuno lo damos en nuestra cafeteria por la razon que nuestros clientes pueden desayunar a la hora que le gusta, sin restripciones de horario saludos martin the martin house

nos dio la sensación de alquiler vacacional, en el desayuno se podrían estirar un poco pues cortito cortito es lo que ofrecen

gracias por este mensaje lleno de realidad tambien debemos aclarar que el desayuno no es un buffet como mucha gente espera la razon que no es un buffet es porque cobramos un precio muy economico lo cual esta muy bien. desayuno regular, parking gratis, wefi gratis que mas podemos hacer. saludos martin
