"This house is beautiful and immaculate and the owner had thought of everything for all ages from high chairs and travel cots to a shower seat in the walk-in shower. The location was ideal to so many places. The owner is lovely and was quick to resolve any issues. Unfortunately the house itself seems to be the only part of the property that has been renovated and what will be a lovely fairy garden, replete with waterfalls, was marred by construction rubbish. "Staff were amazingly warm and friendly. But although the room seems recently updated with nice furniture the room was dusty-thick dust. Coffee machine was dirty and the room had a lingering stale odor. Bathroom was clean and bed was comfortable so I did not make a complaint about the items listed. I just think it’s worth mentioning for future guests to consider."

"Rooms were clean but very dated. Amenities were minimal but sufficient for 1 night. My room had an interconnecting door to another room. This has never been a problem for me before, but the sound proofing in my room was so poor, that it sounded like the 3 girls in the next room who were chatting at a perfectly normal volume at 2am, were sitting on my bed. The cooked breakfast was edible but not great quality. The best thing about the hotel was the staff. All members of staff we encountered at reception, in the restaurant and in the bar were incredibly polite and friendly. Location of the hotel is also great - right in the middle of the town. Overall, considering the price we paid, the hotel was a disappointment and we will not be staying here on our next trip."
