"We liked the size of the room, and it had a full kitchen we didn’t use since we only stayed for 1 night. The check in process is a little difficult, but didn’t take too long. All of the lights were off in the building when we arrived so we walked up the stairs using the flashlights on our phones. We were told to leave our keys in the room when we checked out, but 5 minutes before checkout time a lady, who we assume was the cleaner, came banging on the door demanding we get out and give her the key. That has lowered my rating for this stay. Overall, it is a good location for seeing Trieste!"

"The location is perfect. It’s on a quiet side street not accessible by vehicles. However, you just have to walk about 30 m to get to a taxi. The design is very cool the way they have mixed old world and New World. We tried the breakfast which was outstanding and they also have a lunch special which is very reasonable priced and excellent quality highly recommend this hotel."

"To begin with, GPS did not get us to the hotel. We drove round and round till we figured it out ourselves. First impressions of the hotel are cold, unattractive and uncared for in the lobby with horrible stained furniture and old carpet. The hallways were old and dark. The room was very basic but appeared clean and kept up. The bathroom had been renovated appropriately. Air conditioning was barely working which made the room unbearable. When brought up to female front desk staff we were told too bad, one system for the whole hotel, no remedy available. They were kind to bring us fans. The room was quiet and we slept well. We did not use the breakfast because we had to depart early."
