"This is a little gem! Convenient to all of our excursions . The bed was heaven! Great pillows! A fan was provided. Bathrooms were clean with good smelling products. I like that our room had a separate toilet room from shower room. There were plenty of places to store luggage, clothes, etc. They provide earplugs in case it gets too loud downstairs, but we didn’t really need them. Things pretty much wrapped up at a very decent time. Parking can be tricky. Easier to park on the street than in the...

"Room was not as clean, we spotted a couple of spiders in the room. Place is noisy due to proximity to the main street. Also, lake area was closed as it is private property. It is okay for a quick stop."

"Lovely conveniently placed hotel close to Loch Lomond, with plenty of parking. Staff were friendly and welcoming, Plenty of choice on the menu for evening dining. Self service breakfast again with plenty of choice and all freshly cooked. The hotel has places to relax just off the reception area, lots of comfee seats Pleasant walk across the road along the bank of the Loch although this is probably busy during the summer season"

"Have been before to this boutique hotel and the standard has never failed. Guy on reception was friendly and pleasant. Advised that food wasn’t available atm in the hotel but that he would telephone two down at the Seamill Hydro Hotel for dinner and gave us a voucher for breakfast at same hotel. Dinner booking was abit late for us so declined and went elsewhere. The breakfast was lovely at the Hydro. Hotel was nice and warm, room and bathroom spotless. Would return and recommend to others"

"The property was nice overall, pretty much a place to sleep, while you visit around the area. The staff was superb and super helpful, in every way possible. The negatives are that the TV would lose signal, hence no way of connecting to local and/or online. The hotel could use a bit of updating, but overall there is nothing really wrong with it. No complaints on the food or bar."

"The shower was good but a bit small.there was no staff except a girl in the bar who was lovely but didn't come from the area so couldn't advise me about anything. The whole building needs refurbished. No biscuits with the tea etc.the price was good."

"we stayed in room 4 and despite having a radiator this was centrally controlled by the main reception. we found this out on night 2 as when we went to bed on the first night we whacked the radiator on thinking that would be that but nope, cold as ice through the night. reception did sort but the room didnt get that warm so assuming the thermostatic valve wasnt fully operational. the shower screen squeegee at the bottom didnt properly fit and a gap up at the hinge point meant water escapes onto...

"Having just returned from a five star hotel in Italy St Leonard’s was every bit as good. Never having stayed in a b and b this was excellent. Well done !!"

"One night stay. We had a ground floor room with a small balcony onto the water, which was great. The view was stunning and we were entertained by a family of swans, passing ducks, house martins and swallows. Bed was a good size and was reasonably comfortable. The furniture is starting to show its age. Both the breakfast room and the restaurant played pointless music both inside and even more annoyingly outside! We were disappointed with some of the food at the restaurant, which was overpriced....
