"We had a wonderful stay at Waves and Wildlife at Stokes Bay, Kangaroo Island. The accommodation is set in a beautiful, peaceful location, aptly named for its stunning coastal surroundings and abundance of wildlife. It's also conveniently located close to the spectacular Stokes Bay Beach and the lovely Rockpool Cafรฉ. Paul and Katja were warm and welcoming hosts who communicated with us throughout the booking process and made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the kangaroo feeding experience. Being surrounded by these gentle, inquisitive animals and having the opportunity to interact with them up close was truly special. We also loved watching the kangaroos grazing around our accommodation, particularly in the soft light of the early morning and evening. The setting is wonderfully tranquil, with beautiful views and a real sense of being immersed in nature. The sunsets were nothing short of spectacular. It was the perfect place to unwind after exploring the island. Waves and Wildlife offers a uniquely Kangaroo Island experience, combining natural beauty, abundant wildlife and genuine hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return!"

"This was the first time we traveled to Australia and we were so fortunate to have the opportunity to stay at Ecopia Retreat in the Residence property! The Residence was beautifully decorated and the back yard was full of wildlife! It was a perfect stay for our family for 4 days. The host was always available and so friendly. The stars at night were unbelievable! Totally off the grid and relaxing and special!"

"The propertyโs rural location is fabulous and offers outstanding views across Snelling beach. The ambience is lovely and the property is well equipped. Each pod is well separated from its neighbour. The bed is very comfortable and there is absolute silence at night. Our two night stay was delightful. However, as it is off grid there is no microwave, toaster or washing machine. We were disappointed there were no coat hangers to hang our clothes. It would be advisable to take some insect repellant as we had quite a few mosquitoes gain entry on our last night."
