We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and taking the train into Freiburg was very easy and made our time lass stressful as we didn't need to worry about driving. "This was one of our favourite hotel stays ever! Beautiful wood panelled lodge set into the hills of the Black Forest. The room was spotless and the food at dinner and breakfast was faultless too. "We had a fantastic stay and I’d recommend it. Check in was fast and friendly. Location is absolutely stunning, with great views and walks right outside the hotel. The room we were in was nice but a little dated , bathroom was modern with a great shower and plenty towels too. We booked dinner and that was top quality, breakfast didn’t disappoint but you need to pre order it as they explained it helps cut down on food waste. We hadn’t booked dinner and despite the restaurant being fully booked they got us in, that was appreciated. The staff were all very friendly. I’d definitely recommend this hotel . "
