"We had a lovely stay at Askot Cottages and were sad to leave! The cottage was very cosy and has been very thoughtfully designed. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the gorgeous view from the big window. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights twice while we were there! Top Golden Circle Hotel Reviews

Reykjavik Residence Apartment Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Great location and place for families to stay"

Reykjavik Marina - Berjaya Iceland Hotels

10/10 Excellent

"Great hotel, good location, but be sure you know the entrance faces the harbour not the road. Two happy 'hours' in the bar was a bonus. I'd advise getting the breakfast, it's good value and there are lots of options available. We even managed to see the Northern Lights from our hotel room balcony."

CityHub Reykjavik

8/10 Good

"This accommodation was nice, the rooms were clean and the staff were very nice. I never had to wait for a toilet or shower, and it was nice to have a hot tub - I had it alone for an entire hour. There isn’t any parking, but it is near a parking garage. It’s also near a Bonus grocery store and the main kitchen in the lobby has a few nice touches to help you prep some food (kettle, fridge, microwave, drinks, etc). The only complaint I have is that it’s advertised as soundproof pods, but I feel like the people near me were still so loud it wasn’t actually soundproof. The doors shutting in surrounding pods would wake me up (I don’t even consider myself super sensitive to noises while sleeping either). I was on the bottom bunk and at times it felt like the person above me was genuinely throwing stuff around/stomping. Not too sure if it was just my neighbours, I didn’t have this issue the first night (or two?), but feel like it’s worth noting as it progressively became more noticeable throughout my stay with subsequent nights."
