"Amazing place! Beautifully designed and decorated! Loved the hot tubs, sauna and steam room! Also a great location in a cute little town! It’s within minutes of the thermal river hike! We got up early and were the first ones there! Grocery and gas are right in town as well as a couple of restaurants if you choose not to cook yourself! I wish we were staying another night!"

"Recieved check in information very timely without prompting. It's right off the main road and a great view across the street. If you are a light sleeper it may be difficult for you to find some rest, but we used this location to start off the end of the south coast and start of the golden circle and it was perfect. "The place was comfortable and clean and located in walking distance to everything inside the city. Expect some street/people noise at night on the weekends. Keep in mind, parking in Reykjavik is difficult and at hourly rates too. There is no free or convenient parking. Be willing to find a P3 or P4 spot and walk back to save $$ if that's a concern. Our rental required walking up three flights of stairs, and we had some struggle with the gate & front door locks. Only window light was available...

You're not really within walking distance of the main shopping districts and the view out the window was right over a traffic circle so you're getting noise all night.
