The three bedroom apartment was spacious and breezy with great views of the beach. The kitchen was large and well equipped and the lounge area was large and comfortabpe for 6 of us. The pool and spa were also lovely. Great place to stay!

We've visited this property a few times since 2002 and it doesn't disappoint. A well-managed property away from the bustle of Surfers Paradise which is exceptional for families with young children also. Staff are friendly and parking very easy.

The location is amazing. Front desk service great. For what we paid our room was pretty tired ! As are the facilities……but the location is brilliant…. Our fridge stunk of fish residue which is a shame it didn’t get picked up by the cleaners and equally a shame that guests would think this is acceptable to leave for someone else

The room we were in is showing its age. The bathroom is in definite need of renovation. The apartment was not as clean as we hoped. But location and view is spectacular.

We couldn't quite go "excellent" but our Unit was very good and we would definitely return. Some of the fittings were a bit old and jaded. The shower heads were inadequate. The stove was difficult to operate until you understood how it worked, and that wasn't easy. But, these were small issues. Cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils. fridge etc were very good. The Unit was very clean and tidy and was well furnished and decorated. The staff were very obliging.

Room 701 was unsafe with different levels especially at night. Overall frayed about the edges e.g bathroom vanity falling apart. And overall cleanliness not very good.

The views were extraordinary. The little steps that were scattered in the unit because the floor was uneven was a bit dangerous. The pillows were terrible we went out and bought pillows after our first night. The apartment was very beaten up, the couch needs a good clean it had stains. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Would definitely consider going back despite some of the cons mentioned above

I booked apartment 504 , the views of the beach were just amazing, the apartment was 3 bedrooms, all bedrooms were very comfortable and clean, the master bedroom was very spacious and nice. There were two bathrooms both were clean but old , Air conditioning was only in the living room and the master bedroom, internet was very very slow you would be better off on your mobile internet. Kitchen was spacious and well equipped. The living room and outdoor furniture were not comfortable at all and very old you would be afraid it would break if you sit on. The car parking was easy and secured either in the visitor parking or in the garage which is accessible only with your key tag. Swimming pool / jacuzzi/ steam room / gym all were small but clean and well maintained. All in all I would book golden sands again for my next visit.
