Our apartment was spacious, comfortable and for the most part clean. However, when cleaning after all parties of guests, I suggest cleaners check: 'floor" of pantry & open the extractor fan and wipe. As I used the kitchen often, the lack of attention to detail of these areas was easily visible. The view is amazing, and the price matches the generous facilities and location with direct access to the beach. Thanks to the reception staff who took note of our feedback.

Direct Surf and Sand Access
Great view, direct beach access and lovely heated covered pool and spa, BBQ, tennis, squash. Nice facilities for a family group who are making their own fun and lots of space to do that. Negatives are that there is no nice walk or bike path to cafes and restaurants. It's all accessed by the busy Gold Coast Highway and so you tend to get in the car and drive to places. Cleaning was not great and the unit was full of maintenance issues which I hope they will attend to.

After many visits in my youth i was excited to return to 19th Ave for a special weekend away with my partner, however we were left extremely disappointed with the room. There was dust to the fans, light switches and GPOs, carpet looked like it had never been cleaned with a build up of dirt and grime to the skirting board edges and a single sheet to the beds. We will not be returning.

Hello Liz, We do appreciate any feedback but are disappointed to hear of the dust in the apartment after you have left. We could have sent housekeeping to rectify it straight away.The beds are always made up with sheets only and the laundered blankets are in the wardrobe. As for the carpets, they are clean but old. The owners of the apartment were due to renovate in May however Covid-19 put a stop to that as they live in NSW. We have three types of apartments - Premium which is fully renovated, Superior - which is partially renovated and Standard - which is original (that is the one you had booked). We will be happy to give you a return guest discount if you give us another try. Kind regards, Joanne

Liked the location, the view, the staff, the Sun, the beach (although lots of jelly fish). Didn’t like no aircon in the bedrooms they were very hot.

The First room was not well looked after we were then put into another room as these are bought & owned by private people some look after their rooms and others don't have repairs done But the overall grounds pools Tennis Court BBQ area and the View's were fantastic The second room was is good condition glad we moved The price was a bit expensive for the 4 night stay will go though the Property next time and try get a better price

Great Views
Nice place, could do with a slight facelift in areas, steam room didn't work. But being a little picky as the hotel was nice, staff on reception very friendly and a great view of the ocean, could have stayed longer.

This place was very badly in need of a make over. The bed a double bed and the worst nights sleep we have ever had. Please replace the bed so no one else has to go through the agony. The place would have been nice 20 years ago, but the carpet needed to be replaced at least 5 years ago as it smelled terribly of mould. Nice view, if the place next store wasn't there. Very expensive for what we got.

Great accommodation close to the beach.
I had a very relaxing stay with my lazy-boy lounge suite and an amazing view of the beach. The accommodation is central to Coolangatta and Surfers Paradise and only 10min from the airport. The apartment had everything I required to make it a pleasant stay.

On a quiet beach. Great for family!
On holiday with kids? This is an excellent place to be based. Our kids just wanted to go to the beach everyday... and why not? It's literally on the beach. There was also a great swimming pool (but it was closed for renovations when we stayed). It's about half hour drive to all the theme parks. And 10 mins drive to the centre of the Gold Coast. If you're with family, request an ocean-facing apartment on the lower floors. We stayed on 6th floor - just perfect! The unit was fully self-contained, so you'll feel right at home and save a fortune by cooking for yourself. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Views second to none, spectacular and inspiring!
The Apartment was spacious, north facing with wonderful views over the beach and out to sea. Even saw whales from our balcony. Could have been a bit better provisioned with cooking utensils and a few basics eg salt and pepper, otherwise more than adequate.

Very well located close to the beach.
Arrived to find a nice looking building, actually a block of flats partially rented out as serviced apartments. The view was stunning, but note there is a sloping section of tile floor that leads to the balcony. The Mrs and I found this quite dangerous and each of us nearly lost our footing a few times over the weekend. We were unable to use the spa due to there being no drain plug that would fit. Unfortunately the reception closes at 2:30 pm on Saturday and there was no advertised way to contact support staff. Be aware you will be shoveled out on the dot of 10am as the note under our door stated, there appears to be no ability to negotiate a later checkout. Be also aware that you will be required to clean the flat and wash and dry all of the dishes and cutlery and put them away under fear of additional charges if same are not done. All the facilities were closed for refurbishment at the same time which was unfortunate. We will not be staying again as overall this is poor experience and bad value for money.

Not quite what we expected but served the purpose.
What we experienced was two days of living like a king and queen once we stocked up with our supplies we didn't need to leave the apartment we had everything we needed all we wanted was somewhere to put our heads down for some shut eye for the ANZAC Dawn Service it was quite easy with spa in your apartment and pool ,sauna, etc.down stairs just what you need for a quite week end.

It was altogether a very nice experience. Beautiful view of the beach, sense of comfort and safety; on site staff courteous and helpful, other guests; civilised. The apartment we were staying in was starting to look a little the worse for wear; corrosion around the taps, a bit of wear around the windows but right in the path of a sea breeze tends to age things a bit more quickly than other locations.
