This is my second stay here and both times there was almost no hot wayer for my shower. I let it run for a long time and it didn't get beyond slightly warm. I also ran out of bath tissue! Small things, but necessary things. The room took a long time to warm up too.

Located on the best spot in Goderich. It's an old building (circa 1870 I believe). Well maintained. We've got the best location of the room (209), right in the corner and facing the Courthouse. Don't expect fancy hotel, but it's enough for two of us to stay comfortable.

The room was in very poor shape. Dresser drawer was broken, lamp was ripped and there was obvious mildew and/or mould at the top of the shower. The ice machine in the hallway next door was extremely noisy throughout the night. There was no evening staff on duty (other than the bartender/waiter in the attached bar). Staff the next morning was very accommodating and moved us to a different room and gave a discount on our final bill for the first night. Certainly appreciated.
