"Staff in this beautifully character hotel were exemplary throughout our stay. The bedroom was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Linens & towels were of good quality and the bed very comfortable. The complimentary tea tray was excellent with fresh coffee/ cafetiere & a selection of teas. Bottled water was provided & a bottle of milk. We had dinner and breakfast & both were good. The property is a short walk from the wonderful Burford high street. A real find. "

"Kleiner gemütlicher Pub mit Zimmern perfekt für Übernachtungen auf der Durchreise oder kurze Aufenthalte. Zimmer sind zwar nicht dir größten aber sauber und bequem. Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit."

"Key essentials are very good - hot strong shower, comfortable beds. Room decor is in need of some attention, but it is big site and understandably difficult to keep on top of. Not really an issue. Front facing rooms have great views, but road traffic can start early. Otherwise was very quiet. Would recommend."

"Comfortable room at very reasonable price including full breakfast, which was excellent. Convenient for city centre, cathedral and cricket (my reason for trip). I travelled by train so can't comment on parking. It's an old inn so rooms are not super-modern but have character. It was very warm until I had had the windows open overnight. A fan was provided but I was glad I missed the predicted heatwave a few days later. With windows open there was a degree of street noise, e.g. bin lorries early...
