The staff are very professional, kind, pleasant, and a wealth of knowledge navigating Gloucester. This was our first time here at Cape Ann Marina Hotel and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. From having drinks with Bartender Megan to meeting new friends during the tasty continental breakfast. We will be back if we ever drive through Gloucester again!

Love that the pool & hot tub are finally open. It's awesome at this time of the season that the Maine Scallop draggers are in at the marina fishing every day!

The staff member at check in was impolite. The room was nice, clean, and well kept. The absolute best thing about the room was the balcony view over the river and water lands. We watched birds such as buffheads, mergansers, and long tailed duck. Beautiful sunrise!

Property definitely shows its age. Rooms are on the small side and are in need of renewal. Things function ok, but show their age. Bathrooms in particular are cramped and in need of upgrade. Tubs are cleaned but look and feel shabby. Sonks witk but are loid and clunky. Room for 4 had towels for 2... Beds are a tight fit for two adults.
No clue what they are doing with fish instead of guests in the pool. Did not even consider dining with the pool smells (seating for whatever reason was on the pool deck. And it smells like a pool deck.)
Affordable and adequit for a quick stay in a bed.

Clean room, friendly accomodating staff. Only problems I had was the thermostat in the room was locked on a very warm setting so I had to turn on the a/c to cool down the room to sleep. The balcony should also be either cordoned off by room or locked off at night to provide safety and quiet at night. There were people on my floor that were noisy well into the night outside my window. Great food but The restaurant IMO should also have a more reasonable price point.

Unfortunately I could not locate information that this was an issue during your stay. The balconies are also a fire escape so we cannot section off per room due to this. This hotel is wonderful and the rooms are dated. They have some newly renovated rooms, but the bulk need some work. They are super clean and Mile Marker One is a great restaurant and bar, with great service

The people were super sweet but no I would never stay here again. The bathtub squeaked when you stepped inside to the point it woke my partner up when I was taking a shower. Little to no amenities. The bathroom had rust everywhere. The hotel looked like a motel. Not satisfied, wish I could get my money back to be honest.

I was attending an event at Hammond Castle and this hotel is very close. The room/bed was comfortable and clean and the water pressure for a shower was great. The food at the attached restaurant, Mile Marker One, was delicious with large portions. I had breakfasts and a dinner there.
If you're expecting a 5 star hotel and room service like you could get in Boston or NYC, this isn't it. It IS a really good marina hotel and I would stay here again if I'm in the area.

Only one chair in the room. No towel, racks or glasses in the bathroom . Rusty radiators.
Dirty Keurig coffee machine. Needs to be updated. Room, however, was clean and the staff was friendly. Pretty view.
