The Snug Townhouse

"Well, they weren’t lying about things being ‘snug’. They were completely honest and upfront about how small the room was, and we knew that it would be tight, and we were willing to do that for the convenience of being right in the middle of the action, but it turns out that I may be just a bit too old to attempt a pretzel climb over my husband in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, and not having anywhere to sit other than a two-foot bit near the foot of the bed is a bit rough. Again, not their fault, and the place itself is clean, secure, and well located."

"Room was nice and tidy. Had an issue with the shower head. It kept moving and spraying all over. Soaked the floor. There were some signs of mold in the grout, but overall good for one night. Breakfast was quite good with lots of choices."

"We found the hotel clean, modern and well laid out. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful without exception. Our room was comfortable and served our purposes perfectly. The restaurants were so good we only ate in the hotel and didn't feel the need to eat elsewhere. Very happy customer S."

"I arrived at the location, hoping that I could do a Zoom call for business and quickly learned that I had 1.5 MB in the room closest to the router. If you’re looking to run any business calls from this location, please know that they don’t have Wi-Fi to hold it. I opted for a phone call instead, which worked well. The breakfast was wonderful and the hostess incredibly hard-working, thoughtful, and kind. The property is slightly dated, but I was thrilled with my stay. There are no ways to heat water in the room or a kettle. Everything was fabulous. Otherwise if you don’t need the Internet or a kettle, it’s a perfect stay!"

"We had a great stay at the G. The hotel is just outside of the city center, close enough to walk, easy enough to grab a car and be there in a few minutes. There is a small shopping center directly behind the hotel if you need anything. The staff is incredibly helpful with anything you need or just to have a chat. The lounge and restaurant are beautifully appointed with nice views of lake. The food is some of the best food we ate in London and Ireland. The rooms are spacious and clean and have great space to hang your clothes and put everything away so you feel at home. We would highly recommend staying at the G while in Galway!"
