"Grounds are immaculate.
Great view of the bush/river.
Comfy bed. Good water pressure.
Manager was fantastic.
Good location (7 mins from New Plymouth by car). Quiet, safe.
Can bike safely to New Plymouth ( sidewalk to round about on state highway 3 then side street with on road cycle path).
Restaurant with yummy food on site.
Things that could be better:
Had only one BBQ so you need to reserve it in advance.
Great stay and definitely a place I would go back.

"Loved the mattress. Slept well and felt rested after a long drive to New Plymouth.
This is the second time we stayed over at Devon, looking forward to a third stay.

"We stayed here at the end of our trip and it was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the beautiful scenery and listen to the sounds of the surf and birds. Seth, Nuala and David all made a point of stopping by to see how we were settling in and it was lovely to read the history behind the creation of the villas. Cannot recommend this place enough - would still be there if we could ☺️"

"The parking was fine, The reception gentleman was awesome and checking in was a breeze. He gave great advice for a meal. However, I thought the room was very dreary and the bed was soft. "Had the ocean view cabin for 2 nights and it was wonderful. The view was amazing from the rear deck and waking up to that view in the morning was a wonderful way to start the day. The front desk gave me a bath bomb to use in the deck bathtub and it was a highlight of my stay! The bed was very comfortable and the dressing gowns were a nice touch of luxury. Would definitely stay again."
