"Where do we begin? We arrived at the hotel, and the staff was courteous and very accommodating. Lunch and dinner at the hotel was exquisite, the room was clean and immaculately appointed, and our night’s sleep was peaceful. The Sherbrooke is a hidden gem, and we will tell anyone who visits Glasgow to stay there! Thank you all for such a marvelous stay. "

"The lady on reception who seemed to always be there (!) was so friendly and welcoming, The room smelt so clean when you opened the door, it was large and really comfortable. The room had everything you needed included a complimentary mini bar with water and some beers. The ensuite had an excellent shower and big towels. When checking out we asked if there was another Dakota hotel at our next stop but unfortunately not!! Highly recommend and will go back."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Raddison Red after attending a concert at the Armadillo. Really comfortable room with a great view over the Clyde. Clean bedroom and bathroom, comfortable bed. The bar is also very nice."

"Stayed here because we were going to an event at the Hydro just over the river, easily walked in 7 mins. Car park only £5 and stay included use of pool etc. Great atmosphere in bar area after gig. Highly recommend."

"If you are looking for a clean, safe, hotel with helpful kind staff and a location giving you access to lovely Glasgow City Centre this is it. The price was very fair and the value is high. Some rooms have wonderful views of this city. This is right next to Glasgow Central Train station where we arrived. Highly recommended."

"We booked a room on floor 14 with a river view. It is an extra £20 per night but it’s worth every penny. The staff are so kind and helpful giving us oat milk for the tea in our room and replenishing everything and tidying it all each day of our 4 night stay. The only reason for not giving it full marks is that it would have been good to have a mini fridge for our milk alternative and the cabinetry had the space and a socket for one so couldn’t fathom why it was missing as it’s a basic standard...

"The stay went pretty well until the last day. The room was a bit dated and I had to ask multiple times for a replacement blowdryer as mine was broken. The restaurant was great and vegetarian friendly. When I checked in I was warned an elevator was out due to construction and there would be construction noise during my stay. All fine. But one day I come back to my room around noon to join a work call- my room door is open and a team of 6 construction workers is actively drilling in my room. I was...
