"Cosy cottage - perfect for two and a dog. The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. Well equipped in the main, though take your own loo rolls! Booked through Hotels.com but actually through Sykes Cottages, who offered great service on the phone.
Although it would have been nice to have sufficient logs for our stay on arrival, when we requested more, there...

"Self check in, worked well.
Clean with plenty of space. Easy parking.
Recommended cafe had great breakfast.
Could have done with some washing up liquid in the kitchen."

"Overall stay was nice. Only issue was the piece of wood art above the bed. Was full off cobwebs and spider's. Im chronic asthmatic and this wasnt ideal for me with the dust. I cleaned it myself . "

"The home was beautiful and very homely!
It was very child friendly which we were very mesmerised by! Baby gates for safety and literally everything you could think of needing for a child was there even something simple like a calpol syringe!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will 100% be booking again"

"About Property: Tones of issues 1) House was not cleaned at all. It was full of dust and spider web everywhere. No vacuum cleaner in the house, no cleaner was available. I need to clean it all myself using mop and little brush. 2) House was super cold, Thermostat was giving some error code and later on found valves on radiator were not open 3) Coffee table was broken, it was reported months ago by another guest but no action taken. As it was remain slanted, one of its leg stay outside and it...

"Very, very unimpressed with the heating situation. Only on our way to our property were we informed, by text, that the main form of heating is a log burner - and it was our responsibility to buy logs! The central heating was controlled only by the owner, remotely via an app, so we had no way of turning on, off or up the radiators. The temperature on these was set so low they only came on for a bit in the mornings. So essentially, the owner is making guests pay for their own heating. The whole...

Nefyn Beach is a stunning unspoilt beach on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula, Wales, perfect for traditional seaside holidays. With its long stretch of sand, small collection of picturesque white cottages and clean sea, it is ideal for families to spend a day with the children. The beach is also a magnet for people looking to do a spot of sea kayaking and canoeing, and occasionally the waves even become large enough for surfers to enjoy.
The ruins of imposing Criccieth Castle are a superb example of a native castle. Built during the reign of Llywelyn the Great, one of the greatest Welsh statesmen of the Middle Age, these spectacular ruins, dramatically situated on the headland between two sandy beaches, tower over the blue waters of the bay. The castle looks down on the pretty seaside resort of Criccieth, and offers a vista from which to survey the North Cambrian Coast and the Llŷn Peninsula of North Wales.
