"THIS HOTEL IS NOT AIR CONDITIONED. We chose it because Hotels.com said it was. The manager told us that was “an error” and that he has been trying to get the booking sites to change it but has had no success. This is a malaria area, there are no windows in the rooms but they have sliding glass doors providing a beautiful view of the pool and the lake but, at night, the only way to get cooler air is to leave those sliding doors wide open and use a fan. No screens, no mosquito nets and wide open...

"Great lake view, beautiful landscape and relaxing place. It was a nice stop after hiking Volcano National Park. The property is a bit outdated. Carpet and chairs in our room had lots of stains. Bathroom door was dusty, but shower (hot water & pressure) was good. "

and the gate was shut when I arrived and had to wait an hour. The phone number was disconnected and there was a chicken that made noise waking me up 3 am. Not impressed "

"Total Disaster When we arrived after a 4 hour drive, they pretended to to be aware of our booking. There was a wedding going on and I believe that was the reason why they kicked out all "ordinary" bookings. The staff was extremely unfriendly and rude. They said this is not their problem and kicked us out, not even thinking about apologizing or even offer to help us finding alternative accommodation.... Unfortunately, based on this experience, I can only advise everybody to avoid this...

"The property was not as advertised. The place appears a bit run-down and the rooms we stayed in had stained and partially broken toilet seats. We had to urgently make arrangements to secure alternative accommodation for our elderly mothers, which was extremely inconvenient. The hotel employee who was on duty was however very helpful and understanding, which we appreciated very well. He also contacted the hotel manager who was equally understanding and promised to process a refund for the room...
