"The staff and management is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were subpar but clean enough. No aircon which was fine but no hot water either. The showers were non functional and no buckets were provided till requested. The property is isolated and tough to find. However for the price and for someone seeking a secluded no frills stay with kind and helpful staff I recommend the hotel."

"Having just spent 5 nights at this hotel we can definitely recommend it. It was ideally placed for our self organised tour of Sri Lanka and, from here, we visited the iconic sites of Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Dambulla and the fabulous Hurulu national park where we saw many elephants.
