This was by far the worst check-in experience I’ve had ever. I called the hotel just to confirm what name came through and the so-called manager answered super rudely didn’t even give me a chance to explain what I was looking for, and he said you have to contact where you booked through. That is no way to speak to someone who’s actually booking for services with you. I then called Expedia customer service and the agent was able to have the name change reflect on their system and mentioned they sent over an email to the facility that way they can be aware. when we arrive for the check-in process he was again super rude stating that the name change had not came through. He was extremely irritated and said whatever we had to do we had to do it outside and he kicked us out of the lobby. there are certain requirements that I believe being a hotel on Expedia should meet and customer service would definitely be something that we should be considered. I then contacted Expedia again and spoke to another representative and let him know what was going on with the hotel manager. The representative with Expedia stated they were sorry for the inconvenience and stated that they would be reaching out to the hotel once they spoke to the manager I was instructed by Expedia to go in side and everything should be OK now. When we walked in all of a sudden, the manager had changed his attitude and was now acting “nice” however we never received an apology for his rude behavior.
