Great villa, beautiful out door bathroom. My suit case broke on the ferry to the island the staff found me a new one and brought it to the hotel.

Very nice place to stay, it is a bit of a walk (10mins) to the main strip but is on a main ally so if you are on that side can be a bit noisy. Room spacious, but bed a bit hard and air con struggled a bit. Staff amazing and breakfast great. For price would recommend. Beautiful pool.

Cute little villa-style hotel a couple blocks off the main street in Gili T. Loved the high-intensity A/C and the excellent breakfasts. Staff were lovely, very friendly and authentically interested in their guests.

A hidden jewel with very comfortable rooms
Very quaint resort with 10 rooms. Rooms are generous size with very comfortable beds. Open air bathrooms add a nice refreshing feeling. Staff was very attentive and the breakfast was delicious. It is a more quiet neighborhood but very walkable to the center of town in less than 10 minutes.

Great location off the strip away from the noise but not far enough away it’s a trek. Nice welcoming drinks, Pool is lovely and the use of free bikes is excellent. Staff are excellent particularly Joe and Danny. Nothing to much trouble and happy to share knowledge to. Room is nice and outdoor shower is lovely. Breakfast is fresh and made to order, lots of choice, a great start to each day. Hard to fault, only slight issue was air-con is slightly noisy and the odd horse taxi passing is a bit loud first thing in the morning. Otherwise hard to fault. Was a great stay and would happily stay again.

Perfect Honeymoon Resort!
Gorgeous property, convenient yet quiet location, excellent customer service, beautiful pool area, nice breakfast, outrageous outdoor bathroom! The entire bathroom (yes including the toilet) is outside and it’s amazing! The free guest bikes are really helpful to get around and easy to use! We loved it so much we even recommended to a friend who was in Bali and he flew in to join us! Really friendly staff, absolutely perfect experience, thank you!!

Villa Nero
Villa Nero is great. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. The hotel offers free bicycles which we enjoyed using to explore the island. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a chill spot on the island. Mostly couples and families.

We are Canadians and would rate this Villa about 3.5 stars on a North American scale in terms of amenities, cleanliness, and service. This villa is beautiful! It's nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main walking street, but only a short walk or shorter bicycle ride away! The staff is extremely helpful, courteous, and friendly. We had a great time in Gili T and a wonderful 2-night stay at Villa Nero. Thank you for your hospitality!

Great quiet location
Great location, behind main area so was very peaceful and quiet. Rooms were clean. Free bikes are a definite bonus as required to get around Island. Make sure you grab a horse and cart from beach on arrival as it’s a bit of a walk. Horse and cart was about 100’000 IDR, $10 AUD

Great location only max 5 min walk to beach and restaurants. Lots of choices for breakfast. All staff very welcoming and helpful. They had bikes for hire at no extra cost which was a nice touch.

Lovely stay
We had a lovely stay at Villa Nero. In particular the staff were amazing. So helpful and nice. Booked all our travel for us. Breakfast was great. The rooms were fantastic and spacious. Bathrooms were semi outside. Overall highly recommended.

Where should I begin with? This is actually my second visit for this hotel less than 1 year ago and I highly recommend this hotel to those who want some private and relax place to chill after a busy working life! As you can see in their photos, nice plant decoration and the overall sceneray just on point ! Room was quite big, however the room we checked-in there was some odor in the pillow so we request to change another one and they did changed it for us. Shower area was a bit old and seems dirty but it was okay for me. Maybe a slight improvement could be better. Breakfast was good ! We got a free dinner for our booking and the dinner was superb excellent ! We stayed for 3 nights here and we had our dinner here for 2 nights because it is literally nothing special to take our dinner outside. Actually the island was quite dirty and not well maintained by the government so..we just relax and rest in our hotel and its so cool and chilled. Overall, this is the BEST HOTEL you can find in GIli Trawangan !

From the moment we entered the villa we felt like all our needs are meant. The staff when beyond they duties for us and I saw it was for all customers which was amazing to see. This is by far the best hotel on the island and the staff are world class!!! Food is excellent and we used their service to get to Lombok and what can I say!! WOW!! Great hospitality and friendly welcoming staff and management. Location back from the main beach road so quiet but easy walking distance and bicycles provided for cycling around the island. Lovely place, perfect for couples!
Staff were fantastic, always willing to go the extra mile! Nice and clean and well looked after, I would stay there again without a hesitation. The air con could be a little better but I'm sure it was the same everywhere on the island.

Stayed here for part of our 1st wedding anniversary holiday. Great staff, everyone we met was happy and so helpful, best staff experience I have ever experienced - nothing is too much trouble for the team here. Great breakfast, fresh fruit juices and coffee by the pool. Free bicycle hire is another bonus and we took full advantage taking the bikes out everyday. More of a couples hotel. Great location if you want to be by the main strip of bars and restaurants - about a 5 minute walk, or 30 minute bike ride to the other side of the island where you can watch the sunset. Have already recommended this hotel to friends and family and I will definitely stay here again!! Thank you Villa Nero

Fantastic Villa
Enojed a lovely stay at this villa. It has a nice pool, a restaurant and bikes provided free for the guests. The Villa itself is quite spacious and the beds are really comfy!. I had no issues with the wifi either which was important for me. Above all, it's the staff that really go above and beyond for their guests, they were helpful with all my needs and inquiries, always friendly and smiling. If I travel back to Gili T in the future I will definitely stay here again.

A step up from most of the local accommodations. Nice rooms, but need some updating. Lovely breakfast selection and use of bikes included with your stay. Need some work on service. Staff is very friendly, but not very responsive. It is little things, but for the price you pay the service needs to be better. For example, we notified them that we did not have hand towels or wash cloths. They brought us 2 hand towels on first day, then didn't replace any days after. We had to use the bath towels for drying hands.

Staff were incredible, nice and quiet location off the main strip. Ideally suited for couples. Rooms were excellent. Free use of bicycles were of great use. Pool and bar were quiet. Food at the restaurant was outstanding. Joh and Daniel on the front desk were outstanding and looked after our every need! Would highly recommend/re-visit!

I had an amazing stay here at villa Nero! From my arrival to my departure everything was wonderful. They greeted me with a cold drink and fresh fruit plate. This is a small hotel so the staff knows everyone's name, which is a lovely touch. They escorted me to my room and explained everything. They have complimentary bikes for all the guests and a different wifi for each villa so it has excellent connection. Rooms were spaciaous, loved the outdoor washroom, comfy bed and loads of tv channels. The rooms were also sound proof you can't hear the prays from the near by mosque which were very loud. Breakfast was excellent from continental to eggs, cereals, pancakes. You could have it in your room or in the restaurant or by the pool. They have beach bags, towels, and locks for the bikes. Everything you could need. The only small problem was a miscommunication regarding a snorkelling trip but they still got me on one leaving same time just a bit larger group and escorted me to the meeting point. The staff at this hotel is always smiling and strive to do everything to make your stay comfortable! I would stay here 100% again and recommend to anyone and everyone. Plus only 5 min walk to main road or 2 min bike ride.

Very nice place and food was incredible
This hotel was just okay to me but the food was absolutely incredible. By far the best I ate at for the 4 days I was on Gili trawagan. Room was ok did not like bathroom so much. Pool was ok. Location was ok. Really nice how they have free bikes available another big plus. I would definitely recommend!

Fantastic stay. Staff were so friendly and helpful and the hotel is lovely. The only bad point is that there's no signs to direct you to the hotel- my wife and I walked about for 30 minutes trying to find it.

Truly amazing
Absolutely excellent place to stay. Made and the other staff were so accommodating of us every step of the way, helping us with plans, transportation, food, and even helping us contact and arrange transportation at other hotels for later in our vacation. Perhaps not very well known, but the restaurant at Villa Nero is VERY good. Reasonable prices and probably some of the highest quality food we had anywhere in Indonesia.

A very friendly, warm welcome when we were greeted by staff who were very accomodating to our needs in getting around the island and getting to tours. The hotel has a very intimate boutique feel about it. The included breakfast with freshly made juice was wonderful and the addition of afternoon tea was a nice touch. Just what you need to get away from a busy life. Enjoyed our stay wished it was a little longer.
