We stayed at Utara for 3 nights leading up the the New Year. The service here was fantastic. Location was brillant as it was a hidden gem away from any business. We upgraded to the “Gold Honeymoon package” which included bicycles to get around on which was fabulous and very convenient, romantic dinner for 2, massage and a private snorkeling trip on a glass boat. Was very fun! Thank you for the amazing stay and excellent service. Highly recommend!

Our private pool villa was spacious and in a quiet part of the island, but still within easy reach of some good places to eat and drink. The breakfast was plentiful and cooked to order and served at the villa. The staff were very friendly and kept the villas and grounds clean. On the negative side of things, there was a damp problem on the lower part of the villa walls, which didn't detract from our stay, but looked a little unsightly. Although it's great to have the use of a bicycle during your stay, the bikes are very poor quality. Given the luxury marketing of this property, these should be upgraded. Also it was a shame the outdoor lounge area by the lobby wasn't operational as we would have liked somewhere to sit with a drink from the bar. The upstairs bar/restaurant has pool tables and was full of noisy youngsters so we walked straight out again. Overall, it was a nice place to stay, but I wouldn't have wanted to pay full price.

Look no further for an INCREDIBLE honeymoon spot!
My husband and I just stayed here for 3 nights over our honeymoon and wish we could have stayed longer. The villas are gorgeous, very private and stunning with beautiful flowers and plants everywhere. The staff were so helpful (we love you ETA!) and gave us great recommendations. They organized a snorkeling tour for us that was one of our favorite days during our two week trip as we saw loads of gorgeous fish. Only regret not having a GoPro. This island is gorgeous and this is by far the most beautiful place to stay.

nice villa with private pool.
room was big, clean and comfort. staff perform good as well. everything was perfect. except 2 thing need to be improve. 1) the taste of break-1st. 2) our villa just next to reception, every morning can clearly heard cooking sound and staff talking.

Lovely villa and friendly staff
Lovely villa. Clean and spacious. A bit away from the busy side of the island which is what we wanted and they provided us with bikes anyway. All the staff were lovely. Thank you!

Beautiful property, would stay again.
The service and overall appeal of the villa was excellent and a lot more spacious than we thought. The lunch and dinner menu/food was great - breakfast was so so. While there our air and WiFi was not working, which lead to some discomfort and frustration. The villa was in an area that did not have a party atmosphere, there was a lot of privacy and it was only a 5 min bike ride to see a beautiful sunset.

IMPRESSIVE! Very clean and modern
Beautiful villa that's in a perfect location. Only a few mins ride to the beach and far enough from all the crazy party scene. Very quiet at night. Really good experience.

Hidden gem
Both my fiancé and I were pleasantly surprised to arrive at Utara during our stay on Gillis T. The property is a little off the main road but is very well maintained. Our room upon arrival was so very clean and smelled incredibly fresh. All our linens smelled like fresh lemons and our room even had an air freshener to our delight. The pool was deep enough to jump into and daily complimentary breakfast was served in our villa. Rather than providing separate water bottles, the resort intelligently supplied an entire jug of mineral water which was located in our room. This allowed us to refill our personal bottles and still have the option of having water for coffee and tea in our room. Upon checking in, staff provided us with a map and details about the island. The room had a folder containing information about activities, restaurants, and even common phrases in the the local language. Staff was incredibly friendly but not all were flights went in English. Towels were changed daily and a robe and pair of slippers were supplied to each guest. Complimentary bikes were also supplied for personal transportation along with a raincoat and flashlight for nighttime travel. An absolutely lovely experience. The only item I think that would benefit the resort is improving on the quality of their meals. Food was mediocre but was nicely presented. Absolutely recommend this resort if you don't mind being away from the main strip and enjoy peace and quiet.

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE ACCOMMODATION!!!
Utara is off the charts AMAZING!!! I cannot recommend it more highly. The villas have everything that you can possibly want and you get 2 bikes with your villa. The staff are friendly and very helpful and they speak pretty good English. The beaches are fairly close, a short bike ride away. If you want to spoil yourself, stay at Utara Villlas.

These Villas are a little way away from the harbour or from the sunset view point, but easily reachable by horse or bike. The villas are peaceful, clean and create a perfect retreat. We loved our stay and the staff were more than helpful.

Beautiful luxury villa with all the trimmings. Bikes are provided for convenience as bicycle is the main transport on the island.

좋은 선택입니다
번화가와 항구에서 조금 떨어진 곳에 있지만 그래서 주변이 조용하고 차분하다 처음엔 너무 멀다고 생각했지만 조금 돌아다니다 보면 걸어서도 충분히 길리섬의 골목들을 만끽하면서 다닐 수 있다 아이들과 함께라면 수영장이 있어서 너무 좋고 조용한 곳에서 휴식을 즐길 수도 있고 시설도 좋으며 직원들이 너무나도 친절하다 음식도 맛있다

Henkilökunta respassa ystävällistä ja hyvin englantia puhuvia. Lupasivat useasti auttaa mm pikaveneen varaamisessa, mutta jouduimme kysymään heiltä tätä useasti eri päivinä ennen kuin asia eteni. Aamupalan tilaaminen puhelimitse oli kömpelöä, numero ei toiminut. Aamupalaa saattoi joutua odottamaan 1h soitosta. Tilasimme etukäteen aamupalan tiettyyn aikaan, jotta ehdimme retkelle. Aamupalaa ei kuitenkaan tullut vaan jouduimme kysymään respasta. Saimme lopulta aamupalan 40min myöhässä sovitusta ajasta, jonka vuoksi jouduimme viivästyttää myös retkeä. Lisäksi aamupalasta puuttui aina osia ja jouduimme kysymään niiden perään. Itse aamupala oli maukas ja monipuolinen sekä riittävän täyttävä. Viimeisenä aamuna tilasimme aamupalan vahvasti painottaen että tarvitsemme sen tiettyyn kellonaikaan. Tällöin respan henkilökunta tuli itse tuomaan aamupalan. Pääosin siivoojat hoitivat työnsä hyvin, petasivat sängyt ja vaihtoivat pyyhkeet jne. Yleisilme villassa oli siisti. Siivoojat jättivät kuitenkin esimerkiksi tyhjiä pulloja siivoamatta tai roskikset tyhjentämättä. Villa on kokonaisuutena toimiva ja ilmastointi toimii hyvin. Miinuksena 6 hlön luksusvillassa oli, että villa on varusteltu vain 4 hlölle, Esim. 4 aurinkotuolia, 4 henkilön astiastot. Pyörät ja otsalamput olivat tärkeä lisä. Pyörät ovat rimpuloita, jarrut eivät toimineet, ketjut tippuivat. 1 pyörästä hajosi lokasuoja, josta saimme yllättäen vikaan nähden ison laskun. Pikaveneen kuittia pyysimme useasti ennen kuin saimme sen.

번화가에서 먼 것이 장점이자 단점. Private한 공간을 찾는다면 매우 추천. 자전거를 잘 못 탄다면 비추. 숙소에만 있어도 좋을만큼 숙소의 무드는 좋다. 조식은 인도네시아 음식보다는 인터내셔널 음식을 추천. 커피, 토스트, 잼이 맛있었다.

Really comfortable and well kept
The villa is beautiful and very comfortable. The service is great and really responsive, the only comment could be longer reception hours. Overall we are very happy with our visit and stayed one night more than we initially planned. The only hiccup is the area around the hotel which is quite horrendous. There's trash laying around everywhere and the roads are horrible. This seems to be a general problem at Gili Trawagan - the only areas that are cared for are the resorts and restaurants. We were a bit chocked when we arrived to our hotel but luckily the villa in itself was nice enough to make us forget it temporarily.

Utara Villas was an excellent place to be in Gili. The breakfast was beautiful and the service was really high class. The area was quiet and calm and we were so relaxed after our stay here. We regret that we did not book more nights here. I truly recommend this villa for your next stay in Gili!

한적하게 즐기는 풀빌라 여행을 원한다면 추천
주변이 벌판이기는 하지만, 객실 자체만으로 최고의 리조트입니다. 풀빌라를 즐기시기를 원한다면, 가격 대비 월등하게 좋은 선택입니다. 자전거도 빌려주기 때문에 주변 지역을 나가 길리트라왕안 번화가에서도 충분히 놀수 있습니다. 조식은 약간 아쉽기는 합니다. 풀 관리는 잘되어 물이 깨끗해서 좋았습니다.

가장 좋은건 가격대비 시설! 최고다! 위쪽 유명 리조트보다 가격은 훨씬 저렴하고 생긴지 얼마 안되서 시설이 너무 깨끗하고 좋아요! 모든 직원분들도 너무 친절하고 위치도 해안가에서 조금 들어가긴 하지만 무료로 자전거를 대여해줘서 금방이다. (걸어서도 금방임) 해안가는 항상 사람이 붐벼서 조용한 곳을 원한다면 강추! 다시 방문한다면 무조건 여기로 갈꺼에요!! 너무 좋아요!!!

Beautiful villas and friendly staff
It is a very well equipped cosy villa located in a quiet area. The private pool is quite big, and a day bed was perfect to relax in the shadow. We felt very comfortable to be 'left alone'. Staff do not disturb guests at all, but they are always there whenever needed. The nearest beach is 10 mins walk away (where we swam with turtles!), but we could reach anywhere on the island within 20 mins by bicycles provided by the hotel. We needed to go out for dinner as they didn't serve dinner (they opened just few months ago and still in a planning stage for dinner service), and it was sometimes not easy to ride a bicycle on bumpy roads in the dark, but overall we enjoyed our stay at Utara Villas!

Fin villa och bra personal
hotellet ligger en kort bit från nordvästra stranden. Lite bökigt när det regnar pga allt vatten som samlas längs stigarna. Med cykel (ingår i villan) tar man sig fram enkelt dock och hästtransport går att ordna. Maten för villan var okej men kunde vara något bättre. Portionerna varierade i innehåll från dag till dag och frukosten kunde ha varit större. Hade också önskat byte av sängkläder någon gång under perioden. I övrigt kanonställe och kan verkligen rekommendera villan. Speciellt om man vill röra på sig och äta på annat håll. Det finns flera jättebra restauranger på ön.
