Property is well located, close to the harbour (but not too close), on a quiet corner. There are good restaurants and dive shop options all walkable. Overall, the property is a little run down, but has great potential. They were building a new pool. The room had a musty smell (particularly the bed), and air conditioning was not as effective as others we have enjoyed in Indonesia. The restaurant was frustrating at times- not bringing the bill when we asked for it (this happened more than once) and so, we stopped eating there.

7Seas Cottages are only a short walk away from the harbour which is great and a stone's throw away from some really great restaurants and the sunrise spot on the island. We were welcomed by friendly staff members but the room itself was quite dingy and dark and hadn't been fully cleaned when we arrived as there was rubbish in the bathroom. The room and terrace itself needed a lick of paint to freshen it up and the bed was unfortunately really uncomfortable. The WiFi was really poor too which meant we had to go to a coffee shop to do some work. The pool area was great though. Overall this place was really convenient and quiet and the staff were all lovely, I just feel that it needs a little make over to make it amazing and comfortable.

It’s a wooden cottage, full of insects, dirty net around the bed.Smell of mold inside of wardrobe and since it’s inside of the forest you can hear weird bird all night making weird sounds.I stayed 1 night And booked another hotel.Picture from Expedia is misleading and in reality it’s different story.

Nice big comfortable room near to harbour
good location , friendly staff who gives good information on boat timetable, tours etc. Housekeeping done daily. But sometimes wifi a bit weak

life is a beach
great place to stay, close enough to the dive shop without being on top of it. Great restaurants all around and only a five minute walk from the ferry pier. Would definitely stay again, it was clean, staff were great, nothing i needed that i couldnt get

Good location for boat dock and restaurants
Located a short walk from the boat dock within easy reach of a number of restaurants. Good pool although can be full of divers being trained. Good layout with you own private garden, massive bathroom and good air can. Will return here next time we are on Gili Air.

Pro: breakfast in the cabana on the beache and location near the harbor. Pool ok. Cons: old bungalow, dark. FOR FAMILIES: not what we expected as a family bungalow since the 2 rooms are separated and you need to get out to go from one room to the other. So with young kids it is impossible to do one room for the kids and let them sleep alone. when we arrive the air con what not working, they fix it. And there was no mosquito net on 2 beds/over 3 befs. They manage to put a net only on 2/3 beds. The staff was ok. For the money we have seen a lot better in Amed and Ubud but maybe for Gili Air it is ok? I personally would not recommend going there.

Very pleased
The dorm room was pleasnt and simple. It was also clam and the staff were very accommodating. I wouldn't recommend this to someone who is looking for a relaxed cheap stay.

Good budget place
The staff was friendly, check in was easy, gave us towels for the beach, printed my boarding pass. My only complaint is that the bathroom smelled funny and it would not go away. Overall a decent place to sleep - you get what you pay for.

Great staff but facilities are disappointing
When we arrived at our room, surprised that we had been located opposite the bar area despite requesting a quiet room. Facilities are very basic and were in poor condition. Our toilet didn't flush in the evenings!! The staff were very hard working and tried to make the room as nice as possible. The highlights of the hotel are nice pool, friendly and hard working staff and gorgeous view of the island and beach. Also, within walking distance from the harbour.

Gili Air was an amazing experience, great value for your money. It is older but it is still clean and cleaned daily. The staff are lovely and helpful, the location is great, the breakfast is delicious with amazing views. Again it is not one of the newer hotels but the deal we got on Hotel.com made our stay very worth it.

the location was just far enough away from the harbor to be calm and quiet but close enough to carry your bags. great snorkeling right in front of room. breakfast was great and good portions plus you can choose from several options. room was clean, staff was friendly. plus a gym?! wifi was spotty but way better than expected for a tiny island

Spacious Rooms, Great Staff, Location, Awful WiFi.
Spacious and comfortable rooms with big bathrooms. Delightful staff who were extremely friendly. The Garden Cafe had a wide beachfront position with plenty of shade. WiFi was truly awful - virtually useless. 7 Seas Dive School which is part of the property is excellent.

The location was ideal, we walked maybe 5 minutes from the boat dock. Very close to the beach, right on the main road. Really liked the open bathroom with the pretty plants growing in. The air conditioner didn't work very well most of the time which wasn't ideal and the room itself was very dark. We asked about the air conditioner and it improved a bit after that. Bungalow was cute, liked having a nice porch to sit on and the gated area around the room was nice for privacy. Plumbing worked well which wasn't always the case with some of our other Bali hotels!

Great hotel.
The 7 Seas cottages were perfect for me and my friend. The location was perfect; close but not next to the harbor, right on the beach and at close to all restaurants and shops. The staff was so friendly and personable. Would definitely stay there again.

Great hotel
We originally booked four nights here but loved it so much that we extended our stay to 8 nights. The hotel is right off the ocean and conveniently near the harbor. It was easy to find and near everything but away from the craziness. Our room was simple and clean with quite a large bathroom and shower. The included breakfast was one of the best I've had and the staff was very personable and great. I would stay forever if I could.

Simple and Comfortable with Great Seaside View
7seas has a great location. In terms of accessibility, it's a close walk to the harbour, near the central area and in front of the sea. The facilities are comfortable and simple. The staff are accomodating, helpful towards favors or requests. They have one of the best breakfast seaside views in Gili Air. We made good friends with the restaurant staff which made the trip extra special. I would come back here again.

Life saver
I moved over to 7seas from another hotel and was so glad I did! Sheets could have been cleaner but otherwise the room was spacious, clean, and well air conditioned. The wifi was also the fastest and most reliable I've experienced on all the Gili islands and Lombok so far.

Great place, close to the harbor, close to restaurants, to the beach and has a nice pool. Room is big and staff is very nice and friendly.Breakfast was included and was nice and healthy..I liked it so much that I stayed 3 more nights than what I expected.. 100% recommended.

Comfortable stay, would recommend
Stayed at 7Seas for 3 nights. Opted for air con room which is pricey for us but for Gili Air is good value. Room was nice, spacious, with balcony and large bathroom. Pool is gorgeous, great relief from heat. Divers practice in it a lot but they're fun to watch sometimes. Only problem was breakfast time- 2/3 times we could not order from the menu as there was a buffet; the buffet is not good! It's chaotic with poor organization. Just stick to the menu ordering and keep the chaos in the kitchen. Buffet food is not as nice as breakfast I received day 1 meaning day 2 and 3 were useless. Ditch the buffet!

RIPPED OFF! Avoid bungalows at all costs.
The Indonesian breakfasts were lovely but other than that it was awful. We paid for 10 nights but left after 7 without a refund. The 'deluxe bungalow' was barely 2star accommodation. Not even a kettle so you had to buy lukewarm tea at approx $3AUD a pot. The pool area was only set up on Thursday for the wknd diving school so we had to pay to use other pools. Room was full of mozzies & the air-conditioning unit was too small to cool the room which didn't even have a fan for back up during the sweltering days. Ruined our holiday.

Keep your expectations LOW and you'll be ok
Nothing REALLY bad but would NOT recommend. Paid £45 / USD 66 a night & expected more ROOM - Deluxe Villa - disappointed it was right on the road - photos were misleading. - large but basic - aircon was poor - very dark. - power was constantly going off (so aircon shut down, required someone to turn back on - annoying in the night!). I complained & they tried to tell me it was the govt however all their neighbours had power whilst ours was out - Bathroom nice but no shower head and hot water was very unreliable RESTAURANT: - Staff nice, but over attentive & orders delivered incorrectly - ice bucket for drinks was disgusting - never been washed. - Breakfast disappointing SERVICE: - Overall staff were nice but ineffective and poorly trained - Lack of manager on duty and the place wreaked of poor management. - Staff ignored our 'privacy' sign on the door, to delivery us an incredibly annoying letter seeking to absolve themselves from the huge party that was about to happen in the restuarant next door. Not their fault, but a poor way to handle the matter and they should respect the privacy sign - Any issue reported to the front desk was met with a blank expression, and in one or two cases just the word 'NO' Gili Air was my least favourite of the 3 islands... if you want chilled and quiet go to Meno, if you want something a bit more lively (but still pretty chilled and quiet) go to T.

Prisvärt på Gili air.
Hotellet ligger nära stranden och hamnen där själva centrum börjar. Var rätt mycket renoveringar på hotellet och runt om pga jordbävningen 2018. Fick därför oxå äta på grannhotellets frukost. AC brummade lite högt men annars var det bra med balkong med utsikt över havet.

Déçue...
Déçue par la qualité de l’établissement, malgré l’amabilité du personnel. L'établissement ne correspond pas vraiment aux photos, il est en construction (ou en rénovation). On utilise d’ailleurs le restaurant de l’hotel d’à côté car celui de l’hotel est en construction. La piscine n’est pas dans l’hotel, mais un peu plus loin sur la rue, elle ne semble pas très entretenue et en effet l’école de plongée s’en sert pour ses entraînements... En revanche, à 5min à pied du port (pratique pour éviter les calèches tirées par des chevaux en souffrance) et proche des plages de tortues (même si, personnellement, nous n’en avons pas vu en 3 jours). La chambre est tout à fait correcte, confortable et propre (sauf murs et plafond, un peu usés par le temps). Le petit déjeuner est varié (toasts, œufs, mais aussi local) avec thé ou café + jus. Pas de TV (même si nous ne sommes pas là pour la regarder, ça peut être un plus pour le soir).

スタッフや良いものの立地に難
年末年始に泊まりました。まず、水回りやエアコンはOKでした。お湯も十分でました。 しかし、コテージなのである程度覚悟する必要はあったのかと思いますが、隙間だらけで蚊がすごかったです。バリの比ではありません。毎夜10頭以上はつぶしていました。天蓋付きベットは蚊帳の役目を果たすことを初めて知りました（３日目に気づきました）が、それでも隙間から蚊が侵入しました。蚊がダメな方は十分な対応をするか、Giliへの渡航をやめることをお勧めします。 立地について、他の投稿にもあったように道沿いのコテージと道から少し入ったコテージがあります。 最初に割り振られたコテージはレストランの真ん前で、レストランではかなりの音量の音楽を流しています。ドアを閉めると重低音だけが聞こえてきて逆に不気味で寝ていられませんでした（閉店が-10時なので深夜は大丈夫です）。そんなことで部屋の変更をお願いすると二つ隣りでした。音楽はそこそこ聞こえるのですが重低音の直撃からは解放されホットしましたが、隣がプールで朝から子供のはしゃぎ声がうるさかったです。年末年始やラマダン明けでなければ子供は少なく快適釜も知れません。　 　 スタッフの対応や、清掃などは非常に良いもので好感が持てました。
