"This place is incredible! We loved it so much that we booked to stay again a few days later.
The place is beautiful and so comfortable and relaxing. The location is quiet but just a 5 minute walk from the good snorkelling beach and lots of restaurants and bars.
The staff here are incredible - so welcoming, helpful and fun to be around. They do everything that they can to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you Adi and Maddi!

The location is great, as beaches, cafes and restaurants are just around the corner"

"Indeed a wonderful stay, very helpful staff and a nice bungalow for me and my daughter and our 4 day visit to Gili Air. Close to the beach, bike-rental in the front shop and free snorkeling gear available at the reception desk.
Highly recommended for a stay in the Gilis "

"Really great service, both above and below the water :)
Small cozy rooms with a terrace and hammock, great post-dive.
Cheap, low-key and top notch diving as well as service exceeding their relative low stars."

"The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The location is good - towards one end of the main strip - so close enough fire easy access to all the restaurants etc but far enough away to avoid the night club noise.
Sadly the hotel has suffered earthquake damage. This had totally destroyed the main reception, bar and restaurant. The cottage we stayed in also had evidence of earthquake damage (eg cracks). We only stayed there one night because of this."

"The rooms were nice, but please note that in the villas the bathrooms are open air. This is lovely but does allow for quite a lot of mosquitos. The breakfast was good - more options that are without bread as a main focus would be nice for those with gluten or wheat sensitivity. The villas are not very sound proof, so you can hear the live music in the evenings, or frolicking around the pool during the day. It wasn't an issue for us, but I think if you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, it could be a bit loud.
Great location and the staff was so incredibly kind. Very helpful. Food from the kitchen was good, the bed was comfy, and the space was lovely."

"Wow….such an amazing hotel! We stayed in the suite Del Mar, which was incredible. The suite was huge, the two porches overlooked the beach, and we loved everything about the room. The property was so fun, with its beautiful pool and beachfront restaurant. The surprises were plentiful and so thoughtful!! Loved it!!!"
"Very practical bathrooms that included fully opaque doors with locks and a closed off shower (that was not outdoors). This seemed like a rare feature when compared to other villas in Gili Air (many have outdoor showers).
Every room in the villa was super clean and had a really nice modern aesthetic. Staff were extremely friendly and always there to help with anything.
One thing to note, the shared swimming pool area feels like villas are a bit too close together but if you get a 2-bedroom villa, you definitely have your own privacy and space."
"This property is absolutely unbelievable. A truly relaxing and five star experience. the most wonderful, tropical , clean and professiaonl service in all the island / try the deguatation and deserts ! Check out the photos of the villas. Great location. Two second walk to the beach. I will be returning to Tokay."
"A very nice stay at Gilizen. My partner and I have been travelling for 2.5 months and this was our “luxury” stop to celebrate our engagement. The villas are well equipped with plenty of space. The pool area was also ideal for us as it got the sun for the majority of the day. Staff were very friendly, polite and attentive.
The only reasons for not giving the full 5 stars are:
- the pool wasn’t the cleanest.
- the hotel policy when you arrive is “we clean the rooms every 3 days” but we were then asked everyday if we wanted the rooms cleaned…when we said yes I’m not sure how much cleaning they actually did. I think it was more making the bed, picking up some clothes and emptying the bins.
- the breakfast was very average, whilst “free” it wasn’t luxury or 5 stars standard. They also give you a choice of coffee but regardless of what you choose, it’s the same and it’s just instant coffee with milk.
I’d come back if I return to GA."
