"Abba Playa Gijon Hotel is in a great location a very short distance from the main Gijon beach, with fabulous views from the roof terrace of the beach sea, promenade and old town. Great restaurants and shopping very close by. And free parking in the street outside the Hotel. The swimming pool was a real treat and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Top rating for this Hotel"

"Delightful, relaxing, historical, quiet, magical tiny town that time seems to have forgetten with a most charming, intimate hotel and perfect hosts. We reserved for one night en transit, but would definitely return for a longer visit. Luis spoke excellent English and was really knowledgable about the area from its history to cider making (they have their own press) to surfing. When you leave, you feel as if you leave behind a home and a friend in Poo. I agree with all aspects of the other...

"Unfortunately this facility was not up to standard, even for basic accommodation. It was miles from anywhere. 1/2 the building was either being renovated or demolished..not sure. There was no one to meet us & the host kept saying ( we rang him) he would be there soon.. The bed wasn't made & the bath wasn't clean. We couldn't stay there and thankfully got a lift to the nearest village where we called a taxi to take us back to Pravia. "

"Lovely apartment very close to beautiful beach. Apartment is huge and immaculately clean. Large basement garage with easy parking, very useful as there is limited public parking in the area. Owners very friendly and helpful. Only regret we only stayed one night, as the apartment and this area would be perfect for a longer stay."
