"We went there for a few days to relax. Our 2 week visit to South Vietnam and North Vietnam was very hectic with many tours. This resort was perfect. Out of the way, beautiful rooms and the landscaping was amazing. Our view of the mountains was magical. The staff is top notch. We hated to leave."

"We had a such a great stay here. We actually stayed an extra night we loved the place so much. We would have stayed longer but we had to move on. We are certainly going to come back to this spot the next time we are in Ninh Binh. The place is very new and everything seems chosen with care. Beds were very comfy and the rooms/cabins were very quite. The owners are super nice and very attentive. They are very handy at using Google translate to get past any language barrier. "While the staff were very friendly and welcoming, my stay was significantly impacted by the noise levels. The property is home to local frogs that live directly beneath the rooms; their calls are remarkably loud and sound similar to barking dogs and is constant non stop! from 8:00 PM until 4:00 AM every night. If you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, you may find it difficult to get any rest here."

"We loved our stay at Athena Premier. There were 5 of us and the apartment with three rooms worked perfectly for us. The pool and location were amazing, nicely tucked away into the limestone cliffs for privacy from the town bustle! We were able to hire Athena bikes for free and explore the town only a short distance away. Breakfast was also lovely and filling. This place is perfect for families. Highly recommend!"

"Great location. Excellent view. Pool was clean and warm. Quite a few bugs in the room, mostly on the bed, and when we asked the staff they explained that it was termite season and to keep the lights off the bed. Not sure this made me feel more comfortable but staff did offer to change the bed sheets and even our room. Breakfast was a little disappointing."

"Centrally located, but the craftsmanship of the hotel was terrible. Bathroom door cannot be closed. Pillow was too airy without any support. Coke was missing although we didnt drink it. Some cleaning ladies must have took the coke. Room to room sound was a bit loud. Overall, it was a mediocre hotel. A guy was smoking eventhough the rule says no smoking. "
