"We arrived via the not fit to drive at night broken road and upon arriving decided NOT to stay even though we had paid. The hotel pics must be very old as it looks like something from a horror film. Flaky paint, badly kept gardens and flies in our room. We handed back the key and left. The road to the property is horrendous. Don't even think about going anywhere for dinner and back....it's not safe....awful"

"Older large hotel but freshly renovated. Nice white bright rooms, immaculate (Sandra!). The main restaurant is OK, but Porto Fino is fabulous (thanks to friendly waiters, esp. H). Gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Lovely beach, but lots of pebbles. Two pools, very nice and clean. The spa is fabulous. Elisa is an excellent massage therapist, gentle but strong and targeted if needed!"
