This would have been acceptable if it was listed on the booking or communicated prior to arrival, however it was not communicated yet the host demanded it, and was refusing access until they were paid directly. My understanding is that all transactions should take place via this platform."

"The property did not contact me, so i did not have contact info to contact them 24h before as required in their policy and that i had not discovered. Since they dont have a front office, i ended up standing outside the building with my luggage at check in time without being able to contact them. I lost my money and they refused to refund. "
