"While the room was pretty clean and the staff friendly, the hotel overall is very outdated and dingy. Breakfast was very sad, carbs only, no fresh options - even hard boiled eggs were yellow and looked inedible. Luckily we stayed only one night because it felt very depressing, and I would not want to spend a whole vacation there. I’ve been to many lodges before so I know what to expect, but definitely didn’t enjoy this one. "

"Hotel and room were very clean. Staff was very friendly and kind. It's a simple, motel style hotel, close to shopping, food, etc. Only 20-30 minutes with traffic to popular destinations in the area (Pigeon Forge, Smokies, etc). We would absolutely stay here again. The only thing that really could be improved is a quick cleaning of the bathroom celing vent and less salt in the breakfast items. "Very busy location maybe due to spring break. Long lines for free drinks and food. (Better layout could afford confusion and more workers to help stock food) Refrigerator and air conditioner unit made noise all night. Only 2 reasons for the four stars."
